Freestlye RC aerobatics -explanation required

Hello friends,
Please explain me how this guy in the video can make the plane go in reverse vertically ?? Did he use a ESC with reverse like a Car ESC ??

VPP = Variable Pitch Propellor. Same way RC Helicopters hover/fly inverted.

Yes anwar sir is right. It is known as 4D flying. And usually goes by the name 4D VPP
Here is a link to a motor that has VPP for 4D -

I think type B means that the VPP assembly is a pusher when the controlling line is not shifted and is at the lower most position. As i am not an expert in 4D VPP i could be wrong. :(

And that guys video is not as good as this ones he does spot takeoff

Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

Ok...so it is variable pitch prop in a outrunner with a servo to control the pitch of the prop....Got it...

But if it goes in reverse won't the ailerons / elevator( trailing edge) first hits air than the leading edge ?
There will be problem in control inputs isn't it??
