Title: Use Aileron Snap Rolls to Confuse Attacking Hawks
Post by: theleabres on March 16, 2013, 09:17:26 PM
This move seemed to confuse the hawk that keep crashing into the Mustang trying to knock it down.

Your Mustang pilot is always looking over his shoulder. Thats why he is defensive. Fighter pilots need to be aggressive. No, Gusty Sir? Make him face forward and ATTACK. Great video, but remember seeing it a few days back in another thread. Still wondering where your field is.

Here are the pics of the camera mount locations.  I use self stick velcro and a rubber band to lessen vibration.

On this vid, the camera faces forward

freeze the vid @ 1:46 and you'll see on the right wing the blue strip of velcro.

Where I fly you need permission from the "Bosses" to fly on the cricket field

Are you serious? You want a RC Pilot (us) to attack and kill / hurt the birds? Get real Sir, We are invading their airspace. It originally belongs to them. We are the offending party. Please refrain from using using bravado and anachronistic heroism in your thoughts and resultant posts. WW2 finished 68 years ago. Let it pass. Come on Sir, didn't expect this from you.

Sorry if I sound caustic, but you are advocating cruelty towards animals and birds - that is unpardonable.

I am a PETA supporter for life. Even RC/Aero modelling/Ship Modelling/ Submarines/Rocketry/et al takes a back seat to that.

Refer VCsir's 'attack'. I should have kept my big mouth shut. Of course i was not serious. Surely theleabres would know that my comments were for the 'pilot' in the Mustang, not the RC pilot. (We too have 3 stray dogs and 3stray pups coming for lunch and dinner every day. Eagles and vultures and kites remain my guides from my sailplane years. Stopped using diclofenac even for my own pains once i found that is what has killed off vultures). Nevertheless sorry for offence caused unintentionally.
