Title: Anyone ordered from foxtechfpv?
Post by: Rahulvyas on May 07, 2013, 11:57:03 AM
Hi,
Have a couple of stuff to orderm shipping is confusing me.
Dont know if DHL and other shipping brands are safe.
All shipping rates are almost 38$, what should I choose?
DHL? or the standard shipping?
Both cost around 38$.

Pravesh are you sure through dhl the customs would be more...
In my experience they are the best one to deal with customs... and fastest..
Rahul even I am also getting something from there... so I also need to know the feedback about the foxtech...

Well, the support is superb. They reply within 15min to your emails and will guide you choosing right stuff.

I am ordering 6 motors for my hex. Heavy lifter.
Till now I selected the 35-36- 700kv.

They dont give much thrust. I dont think I can hold a DSLR with 2axis gimbal with it. So I will have  to upgrade to new motors.
is 12x3.8" props or 12x6" props available as plastic? because CF is too costly.

Rahul for for holding a dslr those aluminium hands are not much and with those motors you pmed cannot handle that go for a 450w motor with 4s
Sunny sky 2814 700kv is what I suggest with 12 " prop

@ arun , from my experience UPS is the best in delivering and customs charged is sensible mostly.. dhl is fast too but i have been overcharged customs many times. all good couriers are good in dealing with customs.  ;)  .
ask foxtech how can they help in clearing customs without problem, theyll do something from their side too ;).

@rahul - yes get the sunnysky motors, u don't need to balance them, most come balanced and they are like cheaper t motors.  +1 arun ^^ 2814 700kv has 2kg claimed thrust.

CF, Sadly I cant afford that. :(
Also, I dont believe in using premade frames. I want to learn and making your own one teaches you alot of things.

Ya, I think I will go with those motors, But a bit costly they are. Any other source to buy those?

So rahul make some more supports for the frame if you are planning for a dslr...
And that is the best price available now...

KK2 can do that But rahul i with a dslr and all i dont think you can trust a KK2...
What about an arduflyer with gps?
Or go with kk2 itself after than you can upgrade..  ;) ;)wookong- waypoint ;) ;)
Rahhul dont call me sir
