u can request them to let you keep all other stuff by paying a custom duty dont know hw much but a big one may b

By the time I placed that huge order, I was not.. Later I posted 2 small orders.. Props and wires.. With them, I became a gold member 2 days ago.. Is this going to make sense..??

only after you are a gold member you can reduce the custom declaration value of your goods at your own risk from 10% to 100%

18AWG wire is a bit less I think.
you will be needing 2 more pairs of the gold connectors.

well thats if he is able to pay the customs duty which will be huge

even the lipo battery is troublesome in customs
you might as well not get that
this printout will get them straight to open the box remove the tx/rx
it is clearly stated transmitter and reciver
try to request them
pick a less experienced guy request him if it is possible he might let you take all the things for some ....

Hey guys sorry i was not active because of my exams but know i am free i was reading the topic from page 91 so understand about it .
Now about hobbyking one thing my cousin has ordered many things from hobbyking For a hexacopter motors,Wires,connectors,Frames,Radio Transmitter and Reciever Too !!!!!! :-
First order amounts to approx 40 $
Second order amounts to approx 60 $.
Third order amounts to approx 280$
Total :- 40+60+280=380$
This all orders were done Between 10-15 days gap(After The Delivery Happened)
Now let us come to customs and shipping
Shipping:-First order :- 40$ + 20$=60$ (international Air mail):- Delivered in 13 Days
Second order :- 60$+29.79$ =89.79$ (International Air mail):- Delivered in 17Days
Third order was very important because it contained Futaba 7C 2.4GHz Radio Transmitter and Reciever Shipping was by Fedex Priority Amounts to 50.15$ And extra 300 Rs for clearence and the happy news is that it got delivered in 20 Days without any hassles will tell about the customs below.

So now the customs :-
On the first two orders no custom was charged Luckily.
But on the third that is the radio It was exactly charged 28.85%.

Total :-
First Order :- 60$= 3747.60 Everything is calculated by Dollar Rate = 62.46 Rs.
Second Order:- 89.79$=5609.18
Third order :- 280 $ = 17488 Rs
And customs :-28.85% = 5045.51
So total :- 31890.29 Rs.

Thank you Aman.. That was really comforting.. But my order worth $317+$67(shipping) consists of everything, including Tx/Rx.. What about its customs duty? 28% of $383..?? God should help me.. I'm ready to pay the prescribed amount, but I'm eagerly hoping that it would not be stopped by customs.. And LIPOs too..

Aren't 18AWG sufficient..?? The maximum rating of the motor is 18A.. I got a Power distribution board to connect to a battery.. Where I would use these wires is just to connect ESC to Power board, which carries current around 16A, less than rated current of motor.. Is my approach correct..??

Custom would attract 30% if asked u should pay and get it ...

Hey sree as i saw your invoice did you use fedex as shipping or Ems or International air mail because it is a huge amount . If fedex then dont worry you will get it cleared everyone gets the parcel very early ordering by fedex i have never heard any thing or matter about customs hassles through fedex. If it is fedex then i think you should and i think the customs  you will be charged as same as my cousin brother that is 28.85% + 300 rs if fedex. In International air mail there are very less chances to get customs charged. So i hope and wish that you get your parcel soon. If you have any doubts just post it here and rc india members including me will be ready to help

Hi Aman.. You spoke about Fedex and International mail, but not EMS, through which, my parcel is intended to come.. But the parcel tracking number is provided in freipost.com.. The tracking num they provided is not tracable in any of the EMS sites.. Its only Freipost.. Did anybody hear about this carrier..??

Hello Sree ok you have ordered through EMS I dont know why your not able to track EMS Tracking Number in Ems Websites can understand this . Never heard of freipost but yes EMS also you will get you parcel.

@sree  i ordered from hk 5 days ago via EMS ( freipost.com) , my tracking is still not active and this is my fourth order from hk, Dont worry you hav  to wait for tracking to become active.

I think the tracking id for the EMS websites and the others too Take time to be activated may be 5-7 days . By the way Thanks sharank For clearing the doubt

yea aman some tracking systems are too crappy and take atleast a week to become active and the hardest part is waiting

Yes your correct it is happened with me a lot of times one time i was also importing some electronic product from Amazon candian website they sent it through UPS The tracking id took 8-9 days to get activated and i was waiting and getting frustated.

hope they find a way to speed up the process
