I am a noob I ordered some stuff from hobbyking but as taking so much time at customs. I called them today they said that your parcel has been detained and you need to come there with Invoice and ID proof.
Being a Noob without knowing I ordered a 6ch TX Motor esc servos props(Weight around 1.20Kg).
Pls help me how can i deal with it I just wnna get rid. I should go or wait what to do.
they are not giveing India people to get in RC. I will be very thankful.

Here it was my tracking shows:

Bad luck. Transmitters are best acquired locally.
Customs chaps stop them.If you had read other posts in the forum, ou would have noted that transmitters often get stuck.
Only thing to do is to mail them your invoice , a description of each item and your credit card statement as proof of price. Send a xerox of your ID proof. maybe they will let the package through. or you may need to visit them. try to send the mail first.

I have no problem in visiting them I will try to visit tommorw but there is a problem I have declared the values as 30% of the current price.

doesn't mattter. take our credit card statement with the actual price as well as a print out of each page with the description from the hobbyking website..
if they make a big fuss about the tx, back off. tell them you did not know it was illegal and meant no harm. if they feel they cannot clear it, ask them to clear the rest of the package. worst case senario- the packaage gets returned to sender. hobbyking will credit the balance minus postage to your account.
The trouble maker in the package is the radio. you can order the rest of the items from hobbyking later.
Don't have a major dispute- you will always be on their radar and all your future packages will get stuck. be polite and apolegetic if need be.
Don't worry about the 30% declaration.
Say it is mail ordered and there is no invoice. so the credit card statement is the proof of price. tell them you don't know what price the seller declared without your knowledge. you only know what you paid and the price of the items on their respective pages should add up to what you paid.
But do you need to go? unless there is trouble about the radio the whole thing can be done by post. they will only charge the custom fee which you have to pay your postman. they will not release the package to you under any condition- it will only come through post. remember DON'T HAVE A MAJOR DISPUTE - BACK OFF  and if you get the TX released you are one of the Very lucky few.
please let us know what happens- it will help others. in future remember large packets get stuck.

If it is stuck in custom, shouldn't they should inform by post? I think it might be a good idea to wait for some communication from the custom dept.

Sadly, another case of people coming to the forums after doing everything wrong.

It has been clarified many times here that the sensible thing is to order in small packages, and DO NOT contact customs etc until you hear from them via a notice.  Even when you get the notice, send the documents via mail, do NOT go in person unless as the last resort. 

Sad to see people not using the search facility here to their advantage

@djsong121- Take some college ID or something with you and tell them its for college purpose only, take the custom invoice from HK alongwith it, and that would do...

My Package was released on 11th June itself. Hasn't reached me yet. Guess postal services guys are waiting for the Thieves to have their share  . When Lacks or Carore went Kaput in the country, who would bother about few thousand rupee scam? This I guess the involved custom/Postal officials would be thinking!!

3. If you are just beginning, this may not be the right plane for you at all.  Just spend a few minutes/hours searching/reading to find out what type of planes suite beginners.  It would be sad to see your money lost in vain

I have used agents help for clearing radio shipment. This shipment contains below items,

A great day for me!!! got my 6ch rx/tx system from HK.No customs poking and recieved it within 20 days post-payment.Great system..now waiting for my other components from rc bazaar!

yes sir. it was through registered air mail.the shipping cost was around 17$ and if u want ur shipping to be fast then it is somewhere around 35$.

lucky boy,   my shipment with just  servos and motors were detained by the costms..

Hobby king is up to their tricks again,

I had put a Pay pal case on them and today I received a plain mail stating to remove case I have on them, and what's that I can't believe my eyes they have removed this order from my account on their web site.

For the people who still think hobby King sells best material at cheapest prices.

And have you people noticed that, they mention some funny names, on the parcel, and if some of the custom authorities want to verify your invoice with payment details and sender's name on the parcel it can be real mess.
