It worked out to be a great plane for 3D hovering.  I visited their premises personally, and the folks there were very helpful.

I would vouch for the same place, been there few times my self. Sanjeev Shah is the contact person. He also has a good collection of accessories for model aircraft's, like servos, radios, propellers, engines etc.

Give them a call, the contact details are on their website (phone: +918032712930).  They are one of the better LHSes we have, had good personal experience with them.

You can directly pick up items from them.

I recommend them too. They are good people to buy from, as per my personal experience. Customer friendly and pro active.

One of the best hobby shops in India you will never go wrong with RCDHAMAKA, Sanjeev and Karthik are really great people to deal with 100% recommended.

Just close your eyes and go to them.  8-) You can trust them blindfolded. Extremely helpful and knowledgable guys !!!  :salute:

Well After reading all the above comments I think there is something wrong with me..I send them a mail requesting a list of available 60 size airplanes and shipping cost to my native place etc few days back. So far no response and I end up buying my model from Dubai. I seriously wanted to avoid taking the plane from here but the cold response I received from here made me do that. I dint even get an acknowledgement from them ??? ??? ??? ??

I recently ordered a Lipo battery from RCDhamaka.com.As soon as the transaction was completed the site showed a session expired message.I emailed them twice but recieved no reply then I tried to call them but it was engaged ( I have already tried 5-6 times).The transaction was above 800 rupees. If you tried calling/emailing without much gap in between, then you know that it may not work.  Try waiting for some time before calling back again.  Alternatively, you can also PM them here.

They are one of the better shops in India, and take good care of customers in general.

(a) How old are you
(b) how much have you bought from both these LHS
(c) what was your query that they didnt answer to ?(Are they obliged to except for the product support query ?)
(d) Do you what is a "Aileron Driver" ?, last time when i was there i saw some hilarious queries some laddies like yourself sent, he wanted to buy a "Gain Adjustment Aileron Driver" :banghead:, happens to be that he wanted a control horn :giggle:. People before you who have said good things about RCDhamaka are serious aeromodellors, who buy from both RCDhamaka & RCBazaar for thousands if not for lacs of :Rs:

i didn't mean they lack in quality or something, i ordered a thing few months ago, 5 days or so the shipping info was not updated, i just mailed them twice, no reply. pro on 8th day i received the product. NOw did i say anything wrong..

Avesh - I don't know what EXACTLY happened in this case.  But you do have to consider the fact that email is a delivery mechanism with absolutely NO guarantees. Your mail could have been eaten by a spam filter anywhere on the way. Lots of other things could have happened in a mail transmission. It could have been rejected for a variety of reasons, including your own PC being infected with viruses and it being listed in blacklists.  If you are in IT, I am sure you know this... if not, this is something you should consider.

If you really wanted to make such an accusation, the right thing would be to call them during their work/office hours at least once, and then post the feedback here (since your emails did not heed results).

All along, I agree with you that shipping info should have been updated in a timely manner, as a matter of best practice (or maintaining a proper system of record). I am guessing it got updated on the 6th or 7th day, and you did not check later on.

i totally agree anwar sir, as the order cost was low i didnt call them, my mistake, i am really sorry if my statement hurts any one but this is what happened. Soon i am going to order phonix rainbow from rcdhamaka. :)

its true that not to post direct comparisons and accusations,however i feel if there is genuine reason one should DEFINITELY post the abnormalities in the LHS.otherwise how will a great LHS like RCD improve?right na?
i have had great time with RCD.my shopping isnt even into thousands sometimes, but they take great care of customer and are always helpful when called.

You have not given the facts, of when you had bought the items etc etc. Let me enlighten you that between 30.10.2012 to 05.11.2012 we were closed due to renovation and it was clearly mentioned on our site main page that all orders placed will be shipped from 06.11.2012 onwards and that we were closed for renovation between the above dates. You had placed your order on 31.10.2012 post 2:30pm for the digital battery voltage display, on 01.11.2012 you send a mail quote " my order still not shipped.. thanks" unquote. Also 01.11.2012 is a Holiday in Bangalore (Karnataka) "Karnataka Rajyotsava" we were closed and even if we were open we would not be able to ship as courier companies are closed. Again on the 06.11.2012 you sent us a mail...........quote " product not yet shipped" unquote at 9:11am. A point that you need to remember is that courier companies collect/pick up goods from companies in the evening post 4pm. We were closed customer walkin & shipping as electrical work was been done till the 05.11.2012 and we re-opened on the 06.11.2012 we shipped your order out the 06.11.2012 itself with the shipping update and you received the goods on the 8th as per your confirmation.

Now to also enlighten you that many customers of our who are on this forum also had ordered during this period but were aware that we closed for renovation even their orders were shipped on the 06.11.2012 onwards.

Hope the above clarifies all the questions now !!!!

What you need to understand is that even the hobby shops owners,workers have a life too..........if you see your mail that you sent on 01.11.2012 at 16:21 it is very sarcastic and rude one liner. A lot of people at time of placing an order and then they immediately call and ask if it has been shipped. What a lot of people need to under is that Do you straight away call HK, Tower etc once you place an order. We get calls pass midnight with request like this " Just placed an order need these product urgently as have to submit a project today morning please ship it immediately" Can anybody possible help at midnight, when asked please do something. Also get call that have placed an order at 10am and they need us to have it shipped within an hour or will give a bad feedback on forums etc etc. basically blackmail will not work with LHS or any Hobby shop or company till then are truthful and are dedicated in what they are doing.

Total agree hilarious is not the word even basics eg: have bought this engine why does it have 3 wires.  :banghead: he has actually bought a Brushless Motor, then we need to explain to him that he has bought a brushless motor and it will have 3 wires and how it is to be used etc. and all this coming from an engineering student in his 4th year  :giggle:.

RCDhamaka has gone to great lengths to ship my CF rods and ensure that they arrive in good shape. I still have the cardboard tube with me. I too am a small time buyer. Whilst I would like to appreciate RCD and their Customer Delight, I wouldn't like to take sides and vote for either RCD or RCB. Both are excellent suppliers, in my humble opinion. :hatsoff:

For one who did his Aeromodelling in India in the 80's, trust me we are real lucky to have the quality of shops and services like RCB & RCD  :salute:. Guys, support your LHS, for a minor difference in price (more often than not purely notional) do not go running for every small thing overseas  :thumbsup:

RCD is the best LHS in India, its my personal experience with them. which LHS is selling a 10x6 prop for Rs.22 /- (even after adding taxes it comes to Rs.25 or 26) in india ? I guess nobody. No price changes from the past 2 years I guess. Not only prop even E-max CF 2822 motor is also very less price in RCD. Overall RCD is best of my knowledge. Any way nobody can escape from the tax. I visit RCD website on a regular basis.

Any plans of stocking CAP 232 Shock Flyer models ?
