How about a poll for the 3 worst? Ones to stay away from.

This info can be equally important, I would think.

The problem with a "worst poll" is that it is too easy to abuse.  When you make a "worst / avoid / stay-away-from" list based on proper information about bad experiences (and the open discussion of the same), then the shops have every opportunity to clear their names.  But if it is just anonymous votes, that would cloud the efforts. 

I would rather follow the "even if 1000 guilty people go free, not even one innocent should be punished" rule on this.

VC has the monopoly on the chuck gliders, i see even anam stocking it , is it from VC ?

Any one can vote on up to 3 shops. Guess that is a happy number

I did not make any changes to "the number of votes per user" setting since when the poll was setup !

Nope, I feel it is best the people report individual bad experiences.  When a pattern emerges, we will note the same on the mega list.

And i guess there some thread already running about bad experiences with LHS'.

You've missed thehobbyshop.in . (Pankaj Verma). It's a very good store based in Calicut. Good service, fast shipping. The only drawback is that it doesn't have Paypal.

All the LHS are very helpful for us and i have a small feedback for the LHS owners.

The main thing i exp while browsing different sites is that the out of stock items are been displayed with the stock products, so its like a hunt to check each product stock status. There are hundreds of products on some LHS and when you look closely then around 30-40% or may be more items are out of stock or sold out. Instead the shop owners can create a additonal category like 'out of stock" "sold out" or "coming soon" etc so that its convenient for the users to browse for the products.

Kalsi Models in Delhi is good. Kalsi himself is an instructor of long standing. Thing is he does'nt have any website
