[Admin Note] The LHS has worked with the buyer to resolve this matter amicably.
I had ordered their trainer on 9th April and received it on 13th (don't remember the exact date). The servo tray and the fuselage was cracked near one of the wing dowels and I immediately called them informing of the same and a request for new fuselage. The wheels were also missing. I spoke to Nilesh and he told me to send the photographs of the cracked fuselage. The next day, when I enquired about the same, he told me that the area can be reinforced with ply. Then I also agreed and requested him to send me spare servo tray, some ply pieces and the wheels. I asked him whether it could be sent on the same day. He agreed in positive.
Then I called him again after 6 days enquiring about the spares. He told me that since spares are not ready and have to be made on order, it'll take some time.
Again I called them on 24th and asked about the spares. He told me that the spares were shipped only yesterday (23rd).
Till today, I haven't received it. This is really a disappointing after-sales service. My request was only for the servo tray, some ply pieces and wheels. If I had persisted on a new fuselage, I don't know how many days I would have to be waiting.
its same here .. i had ordered some small stuff from spherehobbies.com.... and the worst part was that they used ems speed post for shipment. it took 14 days for the stuff to be delivered at my place.. and just to inquire about that i sent them a e-mail to which they never replied.... it was my first order and was definately a bad experience.. i hope they will read this and try to improve.....
Shame they use Veneer ply for plane... Even cheap Japanica/Carrom Ply what few manufacture from Kolkata use are better.
Quality control and keeping up promise is what makes a LHS popular.

Thank you ujjwaana for the information. I was not aware of that. However, my colleague has a similar trainer from Anwar models and I must say that it's quality is much much better than the spherehobbies trainer.
Not received the spares till today. Looks like their talk does all the work.

Same or worse here too, I ordered some parts ... then received only half the items, immediately contact them, they said they`ll sent the missing items, after about one month, still nothing .. I called them again ... they told me some parts are out-of-stock... and sent me a single missing item, without any refund for the rest of items... Funny thing is among my orders are a 2nos spinners one Black and one White..... but then I received one Black and another BLUE spinner... How can you do business with an RC shop who can`t even differentiated WHITE or BLUE ... that too i still need to received some other items or at least a refund ...

Same with me too! Thought mine was an isolated one. I had ordered Yellow spinner and received Blue one. They must shipping the spinners randomly I guess :)

How can you say that the items damaged during transit is not the responsibility of the seller? You mean to say that the seller can pack the shipment in whatever way he chooses and put all the liability on the buyer? Come on, any respected seller would at least have a return policy. I'm posting the picture of the package received as it is and to be honest, I was actually surprised to find the content with so little damage. There was no hard card board packing and it's certainly not a way to ship an airplane. This is not the first time I'm ordering a kit from a LHS. I have ordered many and I have seen the packing of all of them. And when one is paying Rs. 1000+ for the shipping and handling charges, he expects the shipment to arrive in one piece.
Any way, it's your policy and your business. You can run it in whatever way you choose.

Delay is one thing and owning the responsibility and caring for the customer is another thing.
Just recently, I had ordered some items from an LHS and they inadvertently shipped the item to a different address. When till 2 weeks I didn't receive the package, I called them and informed about their negligence. They called me back immediately regarding the goof up and shipped the package on the same day.
I know how many times I have called you people regarding this and how many times I have got back return assurance calls. Do you think you would have even bothered to check with me, if I had not posted this on the forum?
And FYI, I never received a PM from you with an apology.
Note: I hate posting negative reviews and I would want to avoid it at all costs. However, when the customer is taken for granted, I can't stand it.

Unfortunately many other LHS have this type of policy, even the reputed ones. With international vendors at-least we are protected by PayPal, but with LHS, we are totally at their mercy. This type of policy wont be possible on ebay.in too - but since LHS have their own eCommerce application, they can set their own rules.
I don't think it is fair policy - it is sellers responsibility to deliver items in good condition.
Received the spares today and to my dismay, the size of the servo tray is smaller and does not fit the fuselage at all. It also appears to be have been taken out of some other model. All the best to anybody doing business with spherehobbies.com
