Hi guys,

I am new to this hobby. by doing lot of research I finally thought of starting my journey through "Maisto Sandstorm Off Road Racing Truggy". I ordered one from snapdeal from a seller called ToyZone for Rs 5100. I got it after couple of days only to be saddened to see that he sent me a used product. Moreover the remote is not properly working (reverse is not working). So sad to see that this type of fraud is going on in India online shopping scenario. I wish I had taken it from Flipkart as they have much better reputation. Snapdeal is a fraud, I can tell it once I talked to their customer care.  They told me that they will contact me but till now (1 day) there is not contact. I feel cheated but just want to beware my friends to take care while shopping from snapdeal.
But I will continue my fight with these frauds and will keep you all posted.

One thing I don't understand why do people cheat even after taking fair price. Corruption has really reached everywhere

even i got cheated on the name of cheap mobiles. You atleast got the product, i received nothing, and had paid 10.5k!

i ordered Deo from Snapdeal. It took them 3 weeks to ship it. when i received it was some Cheap Nalla brand which i have not ordered. called Helpdesk they said if you are not happy with product ship it back. i shipped it to dust bin. In India you can sell anything if you do good advertising and marketing. Forget about it, look for good LHS preferably go to shop to buy costly stuff.

Update: I had logged a complaint regarding this fraud to Snapdeal. They asked me to click the pics of the used truggy and packing and send them to their ID which I did. Once they got the mail someone called me up and asked me to be ready for reverse pickup. THen I got a mail from them about the reverse pickup details.
Important points were:
Original packing should be there.
The invoice copy should be there.

I packed the box again and the reverse pickup was done next day (monday)
On Thursday I have got a mail that they are refunding the money. SO I guess now the case is solved.

Quite happy with snapdeal and these actions taken by them will instill deep confidence in buyer especially in indian e-market (as we don not have strict consumer law for fraud). Hats off to them. 

But beware of the sellers out there on Snapdeal. Lot of them are fraud. Mine had a rating of 3 still I went for him, I would suggest to select a seller with rating more than 4.5 or simply go for flipkart WS Reail seller.

Finally ordered from flipkart and recieved it in a day. What a site this is!!
now enjoying with it. Truely value for money and fast enough to keep you engaged.

Flipkart is no saint. Sometime back they tried to fraud all of us by trying to sell a cheap toy heli as the Align T Rex100. Search for that thread, you will find it here on the forum.

I've bought tons of stuff from Snapdeal and never had a problem. I suggest you stop this free advertising on behalf of Flipkart and berating Snapdeal.

Lets get one thing straight first.for idiots each seller is  a farud. If you buy with eyes closed they even god cant save you.
secondly i am actually not blaming snapdeal. If you read my full thread then you will get my point.
lastly i would say both these site are giving fairly good customer service ( i have easily got full refunds of 30k phones from flipkart). Its all about how much research you do before buying. In online world thats the only thing which can clarify your doubts.
also it also depends on the seller which is not mentioned on your thread.
i would appreciate if you dont draw conclusions about me from my own posts without understanding and reading all the posts.
