Recently I have seen problems receiving goods from Banggood.

Stopped ordering, in the fear of loosing money.

Are others feeling the same?

taksh

I think Banggood is not good website. I tried AliExpress and got refund many times. I ordered imax b3 charger and got copy of imax b3 charger and i opened dispute and also sent message to seller as a warning. And then  i won fight and i got my money back but many sellers are bad and want to do fraud to earn money. I also lose my money in many orders from AliExpress.
I purchase few modules from AliExpress and i sent a message to seller regarding module. Modules are not working then i forget about aliexpress order becasue of studies. Dispute time was over i can't open dispute for my money i can't get my money back.

Be Aware of bad Seller of International market. Always make video of receiving and post bag unboxing if possible.

@saurabh... I just ordered 2 parcels in the last 2 months..got em b4 time...
Hope nothing is wrong with em...they are like the last resort for cheap parts...

rastsaurabh

Thanks Taksh for the info.

My query was whether people are finding issues in receiving ordered goods from Banggood or other sites these days.

taksh

@rastsaurabh
Recently i ordered lipo batteries from china and i received lipo battery. I ordered almost 4-6 lipo batteries from AliExpress and sometimes seller can't ship. Sometimes seller shipped the order but courier return parcel to seller. Sometimes parcel stuck in customs.
This time i got lipo battery. I think its my luck that parcel didn't stuck in custom and released from customs.

Looks like you are so happy about new payment methods but don't forget that they are even asking aadhar details and PAN details while checkout. Hope you know the importance of aadhar data.

taksh

Asking for aadhar details for a payment is not a good thing.
How a chinese company can ask for our details. I think BG will take our details then they will send all our details to China Govt.
We need to send huge amount of email regarding aadhar and pan card details. This thing will make banggood to think.
if Banggood will not stop asking details then we need to do boycott of banggood.

I believe its not banggood who took the initiative .... it's us the Indian Govt. If some thing goes wrong .. like you get caught importing banned items customs can get hold of you. Previously the items were only confiscated. But now they can reach you easily.

Cheers !!

No never. How could you think Indian Govt. asks Chinese website to collect aadhar information of a person during his purcahse?
Indeed it may ask to stop BG exporting banned items. IMO that is not at all the valid point.

As a matter of fact indeed its only us sir.

I raised a query with Bangood support team. They also gave the same reason........

"The Pan and Aadhaar are required by the courier of India direct mail (that is GATI) . If it is inconvenient for you to fill it, we kindly suggest you to choose other shipping methods such as Air Mail Register."

Some more research shows the followings....

"The Indian Customs authorities continue to be vigilant in the implementation of their Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. These require all consignees/importers based in India to provide KYC documents for the clearance of all non-document imports, regardless of the value of such consignments."

Though not gati the rule must be the same.

Hi guys can I order some motors from banggood. Any problems with customs ?

shirsa2001

Yes you can. But not in bulk but one at a time.

Imperial fire

i find it very strange,
firstly how is gati going to benefit by getting customer aadhar, etc , is it just a database? what for?
and secondly ,
why does customs prohibit entry of parts (  , radios , batteries ) to india. i mean these are already being sold in india by lhs.

its okay to tax it ,but prohibiting that what is already sold locally confuses me!!
anyways i am sticking to paypal. havent made my aadhar card anyways!

shirsa2001

@Imperial Fire

Actually it's not GATI but the customs need the KYC for a priority service like IDM. Banggood hands over the KYC data to the IDM partner (currently GATI) and GATI to customs.

knvshrm

I am planning to order 4 motors together. Will that be a issue ? Because if I buy a single motor at a time it makes a significant increase in the price.

shirsa2001

That is what intended by the system. You just can't import in significant numbers and start selling here without proper licenses.
A single one the customs would considers for personal use.

taksh

you can import any quantity as much you want but you need to purchase for your personal use not for commercial use.
I have ordered F450 frame + 4 x esc + 4 x motor  from AliExpress and parcel successfully delivered.
