Hey! Let me get straight to the topic! We all hate it when websites take days to respond to our quires! What if there was an all powerful artificially Intelligent chatbot that could answer all your questions ? And take actions towards, and in the need of the hour, send it to its humans ?

Well, thats just what Mat is! Mat is RCM's chat SupportBot that can answer a lot of your questions!

Mat will be available on the RCM site, Messenger and Facebook messages soon!

Mat learns from its mistakes, so, it will make a lot of mistakes when it starts, but much like a human, it will learn and perfect itself.

Mat will be released for public beta testing this Sunday (17th April 2016)

Hopefully, Mat will be added to RCM V4 releasing this summer!

Let me know what you think about Artificial Intelligence taking over!

It would be really a better start because of increasing craze and hobbyists who has many queries and want them to be cleared as early as possible. People might face problems at start because it will do a lot of mistakes. So I think instead of customers, some group of people train them as a fake customer so that there is no worry about sending a wrong reply to customer.
Anyway nice idea to start. Is it implemented in any other website right now. So that we can have an idea of how it looks.

Devang Flyer

Yes, you are absolutely right.
Me and a friend are currently training it, but "some group of people" is exactly why we are making a public beta testing.
This should be enough to teach it more than enough Q-s and their A-s.
Im currently using Messenger's API for practical testing.
You can see an example where Mark orders Dominos' Pizza, CNN sends Mark daily stories and Mark orders flowers using this chatbot:

Hopefully this doesn't go the way of Microsoft's Tay tweets ;) More seriously, this should help handle more mundane questions though I guess some human intervention will be required for more complicated queries.

Devang Flyer

Yes, Mat has limitations. There is a list of words that it cannot and will not learn. Moreover, every time it fails to recognise whats written, it doesnt directly learn the answer, a moderator writes the answer and verifies it before Mat learns it, so it'll hopefully not be like tay.ai
