It seems 'indiaatv.com' folks are living in the pre-Internet era and think R/C as Imported sports car erena where there is a Import tax of 100% !! Some body would be fool to venture there when people like RCDhamaka, FlyRC and Rotor etc are giving  such great deal.

However I have found a new retailer at lamington rd.who sells electric stuff much cheaper than hobby centre, the name is servo electronics and is located at the left side of the grant road bridge

Though I am new here but I do visit several other forums, and no forum allows discussions in this way, things can be discussed without giving a personal touch to it or hurting any bodies feeling.

I believe that this forum is a   real open mind forum . The true answer comes from the real world and the reality of the answer may be best judged by open comments . Comperative study is essential to make proper study.

I not believe to swing the performance between 45% to 55% rather than 5% to 90%. Believe me, I started aeromodeling 12 years back but still I have not make my first RC plane rather than free flight Gliders due to high priced items . In Kolkata Hobby Center, 600/- Rs. IR heli is sold at Rs. 2400/- and purchased by this forum member  (name suppressed). One person purchased his beginer's electric kit with 24k+ and hearing this another expert comments that you still can purchase this with the same budget from Singapore by AIR travel.

This is crude fact that we are now purchasing online and the market become competitive. Thanks to  VKSingh, Sai Uncle, RCDhamaka, FlyRC and other forum members for making this cheap items really cheap (With quality). We should encourage LHS but there is a limit.

Can you believe that seeing Aeromodeling and getting in touch with aeromodeller needs to show your aeromodeling performance so that you have to land your (Yes, your RTF surely) plane between legs and then only you can get the proper Identity Card (Actually Gate pass to Kolkata Race Course).

This is because the club is headed by one LHS . Again, information received that most of the balsa designs used by nearest IIT students even in competition is actually made by them and they canvases their performance by telling this.

This is again another crude fact. How would you dilute this fact? I am eager to know akshayb.

                           I can see this very clearly "RcIndia" is a very Close knit, truly Indian forum (you can see words uncle, sir,etc. with different names here, which is absent from other forums). I appreciated this fact that how members help each other in this forum.

     And I am well aware of this bitter truth that how we Indians don't want to share knowledge. That's reason we lost our old Vidyas.

I think material sold by Indian online stores is quite reasonable but from previous standards, not today's. And buying from Foreign online stores is becoming easy so you need to be competitive to survive.

Anyways my point is discuss the matter with out being personal. And in a more gentle way.

Believe me I really feel at home here and  have gained a lot from here. And my object is to make this a better place.

Maybe I have missed something but would like you to elaborate on the "personal" element. And I also seem to have missed the rough (un gentle) line/s in the post.

In other words I have not noticed anything amiss.

   My point here is quite mistaken. There's mention of a particular web site which have newly opened and in subsequent posts some member have made fun of the pricing of this web site surrounded with funny emoticons(I don't want to give references of these posts). There is no bad thing in discussing pricing of a particular seller and the forums are for that. But again in a way which don't hurt any body.
As I mentioned in my previous post, and want state once again, I am not commercially in the field of RC, nor I am affiliated to any of the RC dealers, in whatsoever way possible.

Please pardon me for discussing out of subject topic here and let's get over with it now.
