I didn't get any freebies from hk. it's all their gimmicks

I'm one since about 6 months ago.  It means they out your orders ahead of the "coach" class so it goes out faster.  Also, you get "bump the boss" feature (direct email to a Director) in case your order gets screwed up or you can't resolve a complaint through the chat line.  I've used it and it works!

So it means you fly "first class" and in theory receive better customer service and supposedly exclusive online offers.

WOW! i just became normal platinum member...

Would anyone venture to guess about how much it cost in total orders to become Platinum Elite?
