Just recently I had ordered 15 chuck glider kits from RCBharat.com for a children camp I am about to conduct. I'm very disappointed with the product. The Balsa is of very poor quality and infested with borers. Some parts have become very fragile and can be cracked with little pressure.

PRAVEEN JOSE

have you discussed the matter with rcbharat???

vishalrao

I have sent them an email and waiting for their response.

PRAVEEN JOSE

you could have waited for their response and posted this if the problem was not solved

I don't think there is anything wrong regarding posting the product quality. It is the LHS's responsibility to check the quality of the product being stocked or delivered. And assuming the issue was resolved, without posting here in the forum, somebody else may buy the same product. If the store doesn't have options to post reviews of products on their website, consumers like me have to post in forums like these.

Vishal,

These gliders were sold by me to RCBharat about 2 years ago. At that time I didn't know that there would be quality problems. After a few months I bought some more to be used during an Aero Camp that I was conducting - there were of poor quality. I let the seller/manufacturer have a piece of my mind and he was apologetic and offered some replacement parts. He admitted that the current lot was of poor quality and that this had NEVER happened before. In the meanwhile (2 or 3 months had passed), since RC Bharat did not complain, I assumed that he had got a better grade and that there were no problems.

Now I see your post and I am feeling  guilty. These are the same complaints that I had regarding my consignment. The manufacturer had shipped the consignment directly to RCBharat to save time (rather than it travelling from his factory to Guwahati and then to Hyderabad). As a result of this, I couldn't check the consignment before it reached the buyer (RCBharat).

If only Saikrishna had checked the quality immediately and slammed me, I could have taken it up much earlier and arranged for replacements / full refund. Now almost 2 years have gone by, I don't have a hope in hell of arranging a refund from the manufacturer.

Extremely sorry about this, my apologies. Let me see what I can do to redeem the situation.

Regards,

VC

@vishalrao
Was out of city for a couple of days and only came to know regarding the issue when VC  sir called me.

Bravo VC Sir.
Very privileged to find supplier like you who can take the blame even  2 years after suppling it.

Please let me know if anything has to be done from my side.

I agree that sellr has the responsibility to check the quality before shipping.  Nothing wrong with posting before the seller can rectify as that can take weeks or months.  The seller also has the chance to respond to the OP and let his actions be known.  It's all part of sharing here to grow the hobby by rating sellers as reliable or not.

Sai takes a great care to keep his customers satisfied and his experience on chuck gliders isn't there, he wouldn't have removed it from the packet before sending it to you, and may not be intentional omission from his side. i am sure he will refund your money

VC sir called me up yesterday and was kind enough to offer replacement for the damaged parts at his expense. Although I showed my reluctance in accepting the parts at his expense, he was adamant that I do so. He felt that me pursuing for a refund from RCBharat.com would make him feel guilty and hence we both thought that this was the best option out.

Thank you VC sir! People like you make this place a better place to live in.

Trying my best to ensure that the parts reach you by the 18th. Your show must go on.
