Phoenix!

Just wanted to know if anyone else has bought a pixhawk from quadkopters mumbai and how it works. I know its a reputed seller with good repo but I want to be safe before I purchase. Also, it says 3DR approved clone, is it really approved by the 3DR, why would a group approve a competitor's product?

Yes the pixhawk is good. Probably the text has been copy pasted from a chinese website, rather than quadkopters writing it on their own. Chinese sellers often do such to attract customers. But no doubt the product works like the original!

Hello,
Original 3DR Pixhawk will cost you more than 20k, just like original Arduino made in Italy costs u much more. All on such sites, even aliexpress and banggood sells clones which have exact same hardware. Just the difference makes is of quality of all aspects like PCB, soldering etc. Since clones have exact same hardware, there will be no issue of execution of software and that firmware over it. It will perform almost the same. :)

Now about the Pixhawk on quadkopters. I had bought it and it was nice. I got 8GB memory card instead of 4GB and quality of PCB and connections and soldering was nice. No problem with firmware and software. Had several successful flights on my hexacopter till it crashed because of the GPS glitch. It crashed on legs with breaking of Landing gear. Pixhawk was mounted on he top of H550 frame, and didn't got a single scratch. I tested it after crash and found that the the FMU is not getting turn on. 😞 only IO was turning on. So it because of my crash, maybe it got internally damaged because of the shock of crash gone completely in Pixhawk cause it was on top. I will not blame to them, that was my mistake. Moral: it is best ti u don't crash it and take safety measures like having stable GPS and compass before flying. And I will recommend u to buy that Pixhawk if you are looking for one.
Good luck 👍🏻

Ok thanks for clearing my doubts. I'll make sure the supporting equipment is of reliable quality before flying
