Just wanted to share my first purchase with Robu.in, am impressed.

Placed 2 orders with them, and they were very efficient with their delivery. Product was shipped out the very same day and i received it in around 30hrs of placing the order.

Most of the biggies are unable to process an order that quickly.

Robu.in, appreciate your efforts, keep up the good work.

This is now my fav. RC shop from India.

Some products are out of stock as we are experiencing high order volumes from some time. But we are in process of expanding our resources multifold. In coming months you will get to see many more products and lot of work is going on to make our platform more ease to use.

The way Robu verifies the phone number for COD order is cool and hitech.

Only I wish if they had a store pickup in pune... that would have been awesome.

COD verification is to check false orders. We are also working on fraud detection system after which verification will not be required regular and trusted customers. We are also launching auto collection and auto verification for IMPS/NEFT transaction. Also refunds will be automated via IMPS/NEFT for COD and Bank transfer orders. So that we can reduce refund periods from few days to instant.

Store pickup as of now is not possible for us. As all our processes are optimised for order processing in batches. Our Operation optimisations have helped us in quick turn around to same day dispatch. We are right now processing 350 to 400 orders daily and preparing to handle upto 1000+ by year end. Store pickup would mean disturbing our workflow. We are aware that people in Pune expect products on the same day. But we decided to go with the larger interest of pan India customers instead of few customers in Pune. But by next year we have a plan to open separate physical stores and experience centres starting from Pune.
