Swindled by RCDhamaka

Hi All,

I would like to bring to your notice how I got swindled by RCDhamaka for an order I placed on 29th July 2018 for some carbon fiber tubes. I later realized that they were not 3K carbon fiber tubes so I immediately called on the 30th morning which was Monday. I spoke to a lady who had no idea how to cancel the order or have me talk to someone who can help. She kept on asking if I know the local language. I sent them an email replying to the order email and a separate website inquiry through their contact us page but again no response till Aug 8. On Aug 8 they replied to send me alternative items and they will be deducting the shipping charges" to that I replied that I don't wish to place a new order and they can deduct the shipping charges after providing me the tracking number. The girl over the phone on 30th morning told me that the package has not been shipped yet. Giving it a few days, and after still not receiving the refund or any email confirmation from RCDhamaka, I tried to call again but no one answered. On Sep 13, I sent an email asking for an update on refund and telling them that I will take legal action if the refund is not received in 2 days. Following back today over the call, there was some guy who apparently started shouting at me and claiming its my bank who has been holding the money and not them and didn't provide any confirmation on when they refunded the money so that I can check with the bank and threatened that I can go to any legal authorities. To further dismay, he even blocked my access to the website so that I couldn't get the detailed invoice.

It is my advise to everyone to stay away from this retailer to avoid any loss of time and money.

P.S: I have hidden my personal details because I am taking a legal action on this retailer.

Hi, I don't wish to place any new order with RCDhamaka. Please share the FedEx tracking number before deducting the shipping charge and issuing the refund for the canceled order.

Logged in after many years and very saddened to read this post. My association with RCD spans over a decade, they have always been a very trusted site and I have had many enjoyable transactions with them. Their shipping is lightning fast and Sanjiv has always proved to be a gentleman par excellence. I am sure this issue will be sorted out soon.

theyve always sorted my issue out. i completely agree that the lady at the store is difficult to communicate with....dont ask.....

but the person is a good gentleman.
has been helpful always. hope they sort out ur issue soon.
