I have placed my first order with MyRCMart.com for the following:

This is because this is the only place which was selling this model without the Tx and he was the only one shipping to India.  My take - the cust care is good and responsive.

Please advise me if I will need to visit the Bangalore GPO to pick them up myself? If yes, what documents should I need to take? Do I take the letter posted at: http://www.rcindia.org/rc-general-topics/customs-order-(everyone-should-keep-)/msg36039/#new

I selected EMS Express as the mode of delivery rather than normal post, this is dispatched from Hong Kong.


Please post your experiences if any by shopping at this place.

It would good to invest in a balance charger if you are serious and plan to stay long in this hobby.

There are lot of threads on the forum related to customs. It would be good to browse them.
If you still do not get your item within 45 days and no correspondence from the PO/customs then you need to panic.

I have got a Tx and Cessna 172 (44") from HK without any issues.
The parcel will reach you house and you need to pay the postman the customs.

In another case I got a letter from customs to furnish the payment mode and invoice.
I paid the customs duty at the local PO and walked away with my parcel.

I did check HK first, they don't stock as yet and this one item is sold pretty quickly though... Also, when I placed an order together for all the goods, I saved a bit on shipping...
