Wow! A really long list by themMaster. Trully commendable. I only pray that building rcmodels picks up. Very few post of people building plans are posted on RCI.

Keep it up and continue to be an inspiration.

Out of Rai saheb's fleet of beautiful coro models (ie, not including his balsa models),
would forum members like to indicate their choice of "Most Beautiful?"

My choice: PT-19

Aman, you are always very very kind!  :thanks:

Ashok-ji, that is indeed high praise coming from a superb builder such as you. Thank you sir  :hatsoff:

Frankly, twenty odd years ago in the Hobby, everyone was building. Then the ARFs and RTFs came in, then they started to be manufactured in China, Vietnam etc.  >:( >:( 8-) This was coupled with the advent of the foamies

Today it is difficult to get quality kits at all - the few that are sold tend to be more expensive than the ARFs. The option then is scratch building, a daunting task requiring a fair amount of skills, which do take time to develop.

In one way, the Hobby has become more affordable, and a beginner has a greater chance of success.

On the other hand, the pleasure one gets seeing one's own creation fly cannot be measured by any other aeromodelling yardsticks  :D

Iyer sir, you are uncannily correct! In the electrics, the PT 19 and SpadCap are my favourites in the looks department. But in the performance, it would be the QB 10 & QB 20

I will try and post pics too, but the links do take you there to the pics and build

sanjayrai55

Shijin, Thanks !

Unfortunately the Big Nasty & Birdie 10 did not perform as well as I hoped.

sanjayrai55

Thanks Himadri. Well, I spent the first 25 years of my life there (was in South Bombay near Hanging Gardens, born there ;) ) in Cathedral School, Fort, then IIT-B, then Jamnalal Bajaj then worked 2 years in Andheri & Mulund  :D Was there again in Khargar, Navi Mumbai, when I was the CEO of Oil States India at Taloja circa 2011-2014

Always liked Bombay (as I call it, from habit)

But sometime when you come to Delhi, it would be a pleasure to meet up.

Himadri Roy

Sure Sir my uncle stays in Delhi so when i visit him surely will meet you! ;D  :hatsoff:
