Hi guys! This is Chris and I've joined RC India recently. An Air Force pilot by profession. Flown fighters and trainers in the IAF. Thanks to Augustine V, Sundaramvelar and VC, who have motivated me to join you guys. Hope to participate actively and do some interesting flying. Hope to interact with as many people as possible. Take care. Happy landings.

Welcome to the forum sir, at banglore you have a lot of Aeromodellors to meet and couple of good LHS to shop from. read the gem threads. Link here (http://www.rcindia.org/rc-india-forum/the-rc-india-gems/) though it is right on top of this page. List of LHS, is one you should look at. pariticpate in your favourite subject Aerodynamics (I remember, how in simple terms you taught me some of the concepts 20+ yrs ago). Glad to have you onboard.

Chris sir first flight was good. had to recover the airplane from a tree though. Will figure out how to post a pic from my iphone4. Sandy was the instructor. Chris sir on the buddy box. Batt gave up in a loop recovery over a large pine trees. Fun part was the recovery.

Sir,
Like I did under your wings. Trainer system ( wireless) has been ordered. AFPD is with u, when you come back from Banglore you go solo. May be early solo? Like you did to me, on our jet provost,( Kiran). I remember , my first solo , alone in a jet aircraft, with you not beside me, it was scary and a happy moment, RC solo couldn't be compared to that, but a close second,

Chris sir, Gusty and me had a great time last week. we had a long flying session for about three hours. After a long time I got an opportunity to drain out my complete set of 16 Nos 1800-2600 mah.  {:)}  {:)}

The Mig-39 Which perched on the tall pine tree top and refused to come down last to last week also flew. Only the Nose this time was with a different color scheme (You know why  :giggle:).

We test few the shikra glider also. Gusty was wind soaring with it and inspite of flying with a 1300 mah 3S for more than half an hour, he could not drain the 1300 mah and it flew only a single 1300 mah and remaining five are reserved for the next week now.

Gusty and me tried some pattern flying and flying in formation with both Mig-39 and Su-37.

We missed you very much sir. Hope to catch up with you following weeks.

rcpilotacro

We did some 1 vs 1 too, with sandy towing , me putting in attack incl Pughachevs cobra. We had some 500 spectators, some of  them later told me that they we quite moved seeing low level combat. Chris sir, if I had succeded in contacting you, you would have enjoyed it.

Shikra maiden was good. Glide ratio is less due prop drag. 1300 mah batt however lasted 30 min with some more juice in it.

Next week we will be doingl formation low level aeros, with sandy towing and me formatting on him: I wish you were here.

Chris Sir that's our Mig-39 on top of the tall pine tree.

Recovered the Photo from Gusty's FB

Great Job done by the local guy who climbed the ladder and then on the tree till the top like an Ace Acrobat within mins and picked the Mig with his hands and released it down.
