"Fédération Aéronautique Internationale".is the International World Aerosports Fedration based in Switzerland.
All FAI Aeromodelling international championships, competitions and record activities are conducted under the direction of the FAI Aeromodelling Commission (CIAM). CIAM stands for "Comité International d'Aéromodelisme".

Aero Modelers Association President Vijendra Nagar has been nominated as the Indian Delegate at CIAM.A First time in the history of Aeromodeling in India that We have a voice in FAI.

The FAI Aeromodelling Commission meets once a year at an annual meeting to discuss and work on the development of Aeromodelling, rules changes and sporting events (decision on venues for future events, appointment of the FAI Jury and Judges, etc.) and to vote on nominees for CIAM Awards.

Each FAI Member Country may appoint a Delegate with the right to vote at the Plenary Meeting.

Many members may not be aware that Mr Nagar is probably the most senior aeromodeller in India, having been in the hobby at least 50 years!
