Since you are from my land of gods, let me give a Thirukural from next door.

You have been told time and again, you are good by people around you, ask yourself, who are those people ? your efforts needs to be recogonised by Whos Who of the field, please do not let it go to your head, there are some real genius who have worked relentlessly, yet been humble out there, they are your inspiration, not yourself,

we are nothing but Shadows and Dust. Please humble yourself. please, an elder brotherly advice

i am new to RC . you people are doing RC related things when i was not even born  ;D. in older times brushless motors were not there they came and then came LIPO's  >:D .
in todays scenario i guess brushless motor come cheap(HK ) and powerful {as low as 65watts/1$  } .the brushless motors are certainly not TOUGH and ABUSE TAKING like huge brushed and engines .....
but come on they are the future ...aren't they  :-[
I have purchased a motor and modifying an ESC to make  "A RELIABLE 2HP POWER SYSTEM" in approx 200$.
reliable means RELIABLE.

and talking about gear reduction it is more necessary in engines (25000 rpm :giggle:) than in brushless motors (5-6000 rpm  ).

VC

Pankaj, please do not stray from the current topic. Follow the thread, there is a much larger issue being discussed. RATHI KRISHNA IS A FAKE. THERE IS NO ONE CALLED RATHI KRISHNA ON THIS FORUM. ALL THESE POSTS WERE BEING DONE BY ROOPESH KEEREEYAT UNDER A FALSE IDENTITY.

Sorry for the caps, but enough is enough!

you must consider the cc and gear ratio when compared...a twin cylinder IC engine is a matchless...as i know..and still working on it...

i was on topic i guess about the gear reduction and insult of brushless  :giggle: :giggle:

and i have no idea about FAKENESS on her holiness ms. rathikrishna.....

well i have now.  >:D

I had my doubts about this person for a long time. If you watch his interview on the Kairali channel (youtube) his USP is given as a scratchbuilder  of model aircraft out of waste products. I had questioned it at that point, but not too forcefully. I had even penned out my doubts to Anwar Sahab. I have been into scratch and plastic kit building for over 30 years now and have a fair idea of what a kit looks like. I saw that the majority of his so called scratch built models were actually kits.

I say we all take a long breath !

The moment one says only scratch building is worthwhile ("non-childish", if I may borrow the terminology used recently), I would lose respect for the person. If someone said great flying is what matters, and building (scratch/kit/whatever) is a waste of time, then also the person who makes such a statement will lose my respect.

What part of this hobby is of interest AND VALUE to anyone is a strictly personal matter.  It is pretty similar to how someone decides what kind of car one wants to buy... is it for the beauty, or is it for comfort, or is it for fuel economy, or it for sheer power ?  Everyone has a ranking for these factors, and NO ONE can say one reason is STRICTLY inferior to another.  The same analogy can be used for why one finds/decides on his better half... and so on.

So I would say it is a mark of maturity to be open minded about the various aspects of this hobby.  Some people love flying alone...  the best scratch builder can only dream about flying like a true pro.... and vice versa.  I know it takes years of stick time to fly like some of the best, which is not much different from scratch building. Both take patience, and perseverance.

I would strongly suggest that everyone should appreciate what others are doing on the various aspects of this hobby, and not TRIVIALIZE anything.

Regarding electric versus glow/fuel, the debate has been settled many times before that glow makes sense in bigger/heavier models, and electrics would win on the smaller ones. I would consider it lack of experience if someone claimed that electric models cannot handle wind, and I leave my comment at that (as I doubt my own experience/qualification when it comes to such discussions).

I would also request the people who are casting doubt on the models being built, to inspect them in person before making specific comments about the same.

What caught my attention after I joined the modelboatmayhem forum is the fact that Rathi Krishna made a huge hue and cry about being born in impoverished India where she, as a woman was oppressed. 'The nearest cyber parlour is 30kms away.' She stressed on this point time and again. So saying, she would ensure that her last post at that time was always around 19:30 hours, no later. An 'oppressed' woman in a rural environment cannot stay out later than that. So far so good. However, she neglected to hide her tracks here. I found out that this person was most active on our forum between the hours of 23:00 hrs and 02:00 hours! How did she manage to find a cyber parlour at those hours? This set off a string of surmises and deductions and things started to slowly fall in place

Finally, when I was sure that we could nail him, I got in touch with Anwar Sahab and WingCo Augustine last evening. The results are here for all to see.

Whoever this person is, he is a dedicated modeller and in some ways ingenious! No one can take that away. It's a pity that such a person has to hide behind false identities and subterfuges. I, for one, hope this will end well and we can all learn from him soon.

Santhosh, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle always inspired me, however, your salute is better deserved by the Wing Commander who dared to be upfront about it.

The posts on modelboatmayhem are outrageous! Here is an example: "..and i need my MOM to feed me, and yes my buttocks will swell as her arms falls on my buttocks..with anger." A 37 year old woman being physically thrashed????

"i have four radio systems, with me, but i never used it, because i know, such equipments are priceless treassures for me.all four are in its packings with my dresses in my wardrobe.to people like you it may be some needed things but to me its a rare and far beyond reach, not because of the money, but lack of market and because of the restriction of my gender.." Gender biasin India being played out in style for an International gallery of sympathisers who are delighted to see their stereotyped ideas about India being translated into reality!

Then the mess up - "second aspect is, related to my health, due to an accident, happend when i was 16..i was too interested in off road bikes, since my child hood...so because of my extreame pressure my Papa, imported a off road bike for me from Suzuki, was a 224 cc two stroke one , and i started riding it all over our farmyards..as time passed, i saw some great action in TV shows, and because of my ignorance i secretly tried it..and after some sorties my bike hits a coconut tree with violent speed as i lost my control..the final result was too bad as i can remember only a yellow light as i aproach the tree...put it briefly the crushed handle bar penetrated in to my stomach, thus i lost my uterus, and some length of small intestine..so how can i marry one..?..so i am too happy that still i am a virgin...but my Mom is too sad, because she couldnt save me as she is a gyenecologist.." So the oppressed woman goes about riding an imported Suzuki 224cc (???) doing stunts in a village. :giggle:

There are several more gems including dressing up as a woman in a saree and wearing false nails and heavy gold jewellery. The face is NEVER shown, as 'SHE' is not allowed by her Papa!  ;D

VC bhai -  Although I can clearly see your reasons for posting the above information, I am not sure such personal details should be discussed in public. I would request you to send the same to the affected party via PM, and post only "a summary of the outcome" here.

Please note that I am not taking sides either way here, I do respect the sanctity of individuals. If you decide to leave it as it is, I will respect your decision too.

Too many lies and he lost track :

Posted on 24th Dec 2010 - '...after a horrible accident at 18 years.so my Maa always concern about my health...when i am at duty she will make 6 or 7 calls at least a day...so how can i hate my Pappa and Maa..?'

Now the accident was at 18 years age and not 16.

Anwar Sahab, I understand your position as the Administrator. However, what about my position and MY dedication to this hobby for the last 35 years??? Why should I stay silent and watch some twisted mind make a mockery of my hobby and more importantly MY COUNTRY? It is unpardonable. This guy belongs in an assylum.

I had warned you about this person more than six months ago, didn't I? Why can't some other members of this forum also be given their due recognition? I feel rather strongly about what I am seeing at RCIndia nowadays. You want me to stop posting. So be it.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

VC

And as far as discussing personal details on a public forum is concerned, I didn't start it. Someone else did, internationally - Spinal injury, uterus removal, broken marriage, physical abuse at the age of 37 et al.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

anwar

I only requested not to post personal details. And I don't think anyone who deserves to be recognized has not received it.

I don't want this thread to look like a personal ego issue between two static modellers, if that is not clear, I will not comment further. I would suggest rational thinking at times of crises.

I am most worried about this being projected as an example of the famous "crab mentality" attributed to our countrymen :(

PS:  "You want me to stop posting" ??? Where did that come from, even after my making it explicitly clear "I will respect your decision (to post)" ? If people can't think straight under duress, please don't take it on me.  I have better things to do with my time, than deal with such occasional outbursts of people I still respect !
