Hi everyone,
I am Maahin and I live in Gurgaon.
I am currently studying Computer Science and Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology in Manipal (Ofcourse ;) )

Bought a new Engine and propeller for the Seagull 40  ;D
Can't wait to fly it on Sunday...

Hahahaha, Sir my previous prop lasted 2 years, that too it flew away because of a loose prop nut and I couldn't find it.......
Based on that, I bought only 1 prop as of now. Let's hope I don't break it too soon.

Tricycle landing gears are kind on props, taildraggers are not ;)

Run in the new engine with 4 tanks of fuel. Will run a few more tanks today if the weather permits, otherwise the plane is ready to fly tomorrow ;D

I shall be leaving for college coming Saturday and my plane is not going to be used for atleast 5 months. Any suggestions for things that I can use as after run oil?
I have an O.S. 46 AX engine

Sir, can I use synthetic 2T oil or Singer machine oil as a substitute? Many websites and forums recommend these as alternatives.

Your choice. I don't recommend. Engines are valuable, and one small bottle of after-run lasts me years

U can use wd 40 also in place of  after run.

I have ordered the after run oil. Am I supposed to open the glow plug and put in a few drops from there or am I supposed to put the oil in the carburetor?
