PARAM

My greetings to all members rcindia.

I am Param eight years old and study in class IIIrd.

I help my papa make RC planes and micro RC planes. We both fly it every Sundays and holidays.

I am my papa's official co-pilot and camera man. When I am not flying I shoot videos for my papa.

Most of the video posted by my papa are shot by me

Regards to everyone.

Thank you Uncle,

I am Posting photographs of the gliders made by me. My papa has promised me that he will make them RC for me.

They are of weight 12 gms and 21 gms made with depron, balsa, carbon fibre. They have metal screws for weight and they glide very well.

PARAM

Posting for my son the progress achived on the flatout.

Now only thing left out is the servo linkages which I have to do for him. I think I should leave the colour scheme to him.

@ VC. NB is getting too Naughty. He is saying he wants the 6EX, Model, and lipo and chargers in his room and that he is going flying all alone without me when finished. At age 10 he wants to get away from my overbearing attention.

Please send that Naughty Boy to Guwahati. He can stay here with me and teach me how to fly! ;D

N.B. Param,

If I get any further complaints like this from your Dad about your naughty behaviour, then I will gift you a box of Celebration Chocolates!!! :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

Warm Regards,

Uncle V.C.

No Plans VC. Thanks for the compliment.

I might have to hand draw again. All I can say is the complete model is cut out from a single sheet of Laminated foam sheet 5mm of size 950mm x 400mm on top of the pelmet you saw when you were in Shillong (Same Mtrl bought long time back from Sai, all other model are also made of same).
No foam was wasted but for the rounded corners and edges. All cuts were straight lines later rounded at the corners. All cut pieces were used. I will hand draw and post again.

AUW was 210 Gms with 500mah 3S Lipo.

The Motor used is DYS 2805 1400 KV.

Recommended props for the motor is 8 x 6 / 9 x 4. with 20 Amps ESC. However way too power full for this model and the Lipo used.

I am planning to use 8 x 4 GWS ( 4.8 Amps Draw WOT) and 7 x 3.5 GWS (3 Amps WOT). With 7 x 3.5 likely to be more gentle and 8 x 4 Surely Aggressive ( Because with 8 x 4 at WOT with just 4.8 Amps draw it is able to take off from Hand aggressively with Watt Meter hanging in series along  :giggle: )

ESC is 18 Amps though 10 Amps would have sufficed, however for eventuality if at all if I ever decided to fly with 8 x 6 and 1000mah 3S.

WS is 23 Inches and the Chord is Plus 6 inches.

Receiver is Futaba Micro Fasst four channel 6004.

Servos are aileron Hitec 8 Gms x 1 and two dys 4 gms x 2 for elevator and rudder.

Carbon Flat Spars 4mm x 1mm for wing leading edge and under belly foam for reinforcement.

No Paint but only hobby glitter cellotape and Futaba decals.

Yeah lastly the motor mount is acrylic striker of Param's Carom Board for which he is not very happy with me  :giggle:.

"take off from Hand aggressively with Watt Meter hanging in series along"

That will make a good picture for www.wattflyer.com!

The Colour Scheme was totally Param's Idea with his glitter stickers.

Now we both have a model to fly even in inclement weather within our complex in a open patch of just a football field covered from all directions  with pine trees and road.
