Sanjay Sir,

Is RC bolt a Club name?

Girish was going to get some caps made; 3 of us (Arvind Singhatiya, Girish and I) were going to Pinjore for the AMAI meet. So we put RC Bolt, which is an acronym for something I've forgotten :D :D

Besides us, Maahin Beri (when on holiday from college,) Sandeep Pande (occasionally) and now Achin Madan also fly. Saurabh Rastogi has been threatening to fly with us since ages but has not yet

Some faces  ;)

Me taking off

Surprise visitor Shauvik with Girish. I think Shauvik must have got camera-conscious: a few seconds later he landed my model in the tallest tree in the ground

If there is a tree on a otherwise deserted ground, your model will always fly to it"

Ashok - the model does not fly to the tree.

It has been proven beyond doubt that as a model approaches a tree, the branches and leaves suddenly elongate and catch the model :D :D

Sanjay Rai ji, :)
Your statement reminds me the Murphy's Law : :P

The correct, original Murphy's Law reads:

"If there are two or more ways to do something, and one of those ways can result in a catastrophe, then someone will do it." :banghead: This is a principle of defensive design, cited here because it is usually given in mutant forms less descriptive of the challenges of design for losers. For example, you don't make a two-pin plug symmetrical and then label it `THIS WAY UP'; if it matters which way it is plugged in, then you make the design asymmetrical. >:D

Edward A. Murphy, Jr. was one of the engineers on the rocket-sled experiments that were done by the U.S. Air Force in 1949 to test human acceleration tolerances (USAF project MX981). One experiment involved a set of 16 accelerometers mounted to different parts of the subject's body. There were two ways each sensor could be glued to its mount, and somebody methodically installed all 16 the wrong way around. ;D  :salute: Murphy then made the original form of his pronouncement, which the test subject (Major John Paul Stapp) quoted at a news conference a few days later.

Within months `Murphy's Law' had spread to various technical cultures connected to aerospace engineering. Before too many years had gone by variants had passed into the popular imagination, changing as they went. Most of these are variants on "Anything that can go wrong, will"; this is sometimes referred to as Finagle's Law. The mimetic drift apparent in these mutants clearly demonstrates Murphy's Law acting on itself!

Not my own intelligence!! Gleaned from the Omnipotent, Omnipresent Net....Lol... :giggle:

sanjayrai55

Nice pic Saurabh. When are we going to have the "Live Saurabh Show?"  :D  :D

sanjayrai55

Essargee, the stupid trees have not heard of Murphy or Finagle  :giggle: :giggle:

They see a model, and suddenly get activated by a rush of hybrid destructive hormones

But it was good reading   :thanks:

v2 eagle

Ive read those Laws, but never though to know more about the guy Murphy.
Good post essaargee.
Thanks.
@Sanjay sir, ive been to Sholavaram but never seen such a variety of planes.
Those planes in post 188 are awesome.
