@Mr.Iyer I am a firm believer in perspectives. What could be right according to a one person could be grossly wrong for another. There is a certain beauty in these differences. After all if all of us thought in the same lines and the world was without free will, it would be such a boring place .I also think there are very few people who can see and respect another's perspective. I'm consciously trying to learn this art.

I deleted the comment because I could see it was visibily hurting VC and his belief system. He is a very dear friend and I wouldn't want to say anything to purposely hurt him .( Although I felt his message was maybe right from where he is standing but the delivery was not, but again that's my perspective :) )

What I'm trying to say is I have not really subscribed to the ideology under discussion here ,but I agree to respect a different perspective .

There's kids on this forum! What kind of message are we sending posting pictures of people holding murdered warthogs.  :banghead:

Discussions about hobbies here are okay. But I think stuff like this should be discussed on social media sites.

There was a beautiful song by Hemath Kumar years back when even I was not born....with all due to respect to lady...& VC....hunting is all about prespectives. :-)

"zarourat kya tumhe talwar ke teeron ke khanjar je...jise nazar bhar dekh lo wo khud he mar jayee"....................hunting with eyes..... just a prespective and I guess thats what respected lady may wanna learn.

:-)

I must be weird :(  I feel more pain when I see trees being cut down than when a wild boar is downed.

Gonna get some therapy.

I may take a lenient stance towards a lot of crimes against humanity, however, I have zero tolerance when it comes to cruelty against animals. People chopping trees are almost as bad in my point of view.

It takes all kinds to build a society, I am aware of that. Rai Saheb is, and will remain, a dear friend for whom I have a lot of respect. He does what he does and makes no bones about it.

My outburst was not against the act of hunting per se, it was the mockery that was being dumped on a protester.

Perhaps we all need some therapy.

Gosh how much I miss your original Avatar VC Bhai  :giggle:  :giggle:

Yes VC Bhai we all need some therapy.  ;D

Guys - do not get your knickers in a bunch.

Views expressed are just that --- Views and opinions . Every one has a right
to his or hers ... not matter how radical or offensive.

Last I checked this was not illegal.

Sanjay Rai -- Weapon is a .375 Indian Ordinance ??   Massive wild boar by the way
Single shot kill ?

@ Asinghatiya now that's a brilliant example of "hunting" i have to agree   I haven't heard this song of Hemanta da . Is it available online ? Btw curious what makes you think "respected lady" doesn't know this form of hunting already  :P

Correction: Just realized this is Nazro se keh do  :)

Therapy is all good but i'm worried about the after effects. Even Quentin Tarantino was not quite himself after therapy .... :(

@ Sandy  :giggle: VC : See i didn't say anything ..Im just generally giggling . I like to giggle like that once in a while ....no particular reason..just...hum de dum da ... ;D

VC

There you are - single shot to the head did the trick.

Now don't get YOUR COLLECTIVE knickers in a twist over this - more to come, in graphic resolution. Enjoy!

I take exception to this. Warthogs are not found in India, but in Africa.

We all modellers are killing trees. Balsa trees, and Japonica trees amd other trees used to make plywood... Should we stop making models? :P

All students are killing trees. To stop that should we stop using books?

We all use furniture. Should we stop using it to save trees?

With reference to VC's post

1 .SOP of poachers is to poison the Rhinos of Kaziranga ....more stealthy, so I highly doubt
that the rhino was put down with a single bullet.

2. To the uninitiated ...post shows a slain rhino. The poachers have hacked the carcass to take out the horn
    Not a pretty sight.

Sanjay Rai - moving target Huh? Very Good shot ! I have a lot of friends who would definitely like to
shake your hand

My bad Sanjay sir! That dead beast in your hands reminded me of 'pumba' from 'Timon & Pumba'!

Anyways, I'm not into hunting, so I hope my lack of wildlife knowledge would be excused.

...And I seriously hope people discuss more about RC and less about killing animals and trees. It's crazy how people just ignore a beginner's silly sounding question but reply numerous times to something not at all related to RC. (And I'm not talking about Sanjay sir, Iyer sir, VC sir etc; they always help everyone)

rcpilotacro

VC & the rest

Two things i need to bring it your notice (a) People Change (b) We are meant to Hunt and eat (God Gave us canine teeth for tearing those flesh)

My Experience (I run the risk of ceasing to be your friend, but then let the truth be told

I Hunted, yes big time, (i am ashamed of saying it though) did some serious killing, how i changed was, one Sunday i was chasing a beautiful four legged jumper (wont tell you the animal, lest i end up like Salman or somethin). From afternoon till nearly sunset i was chasing him. i shot him twice, he was still alive (12 bore LG), he was very, very smart fella, he used to pass by me on his four knees us standing in just 3' feet grass. Nearing sundown, we both were tired and he was frothing real bad, i was too. suddenly one of my spotter yelled "Sir Right next to you", Lo and Behold ! i saw him get up, looked at me and stood up broad side and i thought he was very dignified in the way he embraced "Shahdath". He was the fourth i shot that day and was the last ever. I changed that day, i thought he smiled at me split second before i shot him, He taught me compassion for animals. He kept returning to me in my dreams (Nowadays though, we are friends :) ) . So if you had met me then, you would have gone ballistic like you did, cause i ate every living being on this earth (barring humans), it was part of Survival trg too, Hunting is quite a macho thing to do too, it is in our genes,

now? of course, i totally am with you, we have no right to kill any living being, but then everything is living, so we draw a line, OK only chicken, fish or only leaves, bamboo shoots etc.

What i definitely don't do is, i don't judge people, Vegan, Carni, LGBT, Martian, Venutian anybody. I guess we dont have the right to do so. IMHO of course.

I am ready for crucification,, by anybody,, bring it on (oops ! felt relived sharing this)

Hahaha!

Here's an extract:

"If we had a military division with the bullet-carrying capacity of these birds, it would face any army in the world," Major Meredith explained. "They could face machine guns with the invulnerability of tanks. They are like Zulus, whom even dum dum bullets would not stop."
