RC India

Hi guys, I am into helis for around 4 months - no RC stuff before this & never knew such things exists. My first Heli was a belt CP V2. I couldn't fly it, so bought a Honeybee FP V2. Learnt basic hover on it & then I was able to hover the BCP on my first attempt. So any one looking for a trainer heli - Honeybee FP v2 is highly recommended from me.

Then i decided to convert my BCP to a Align style head/tail. Now that required some major changes - almost 90% change.

After about 2 months of working on it - its finally 90% ready.

You are planning to use an HS65MG for tail also ?  It would be slow.

Many/most of the other items are high end :)

Thanks Anwar! Yes - a decent gyro (Telebee) & Futaba 9257 on my list. Dont want to spend on high end gyro - since flybarless is the way to go

The HK 401B would be better than the Telebee (at least based on the one Telebee I started with).

Also, looks like the site you are hosting the images is taking forever to load !  Please do consider hosting them at some place like imageshack, or just upload a few directly here !

Made some mods including Spartan Quark & a digital tail servo. I havnt finished working yet, still getting 12 on -ve and 10 on +ve. But she is super smooth now, really nice sound, much less noisier, tail holds really well (no wag/jumpiness etc)

The ESC is actually CC ICE lite 50 and I added a heat sink (from HK) to it. Also added BEC

Redid the entire power system wiring. Instead of y-cable, created two output from the BEC (parallel).
Cleaned the motor
New motor mount
New KDBB Tail Blades

These are the max vibes
Heli has completed 445 flights till date
Governed 3150 RPM w/ Hobbywing RPM sensor

I dont have a 450 now but they are fun to fly especially with low crash costs.
