Anyone please can u guys help me out !
I'm in third mechanical engineering ........i want to do project on designing ang and manufacturing of an helicopter using in "ic engine" or heavy duty electric motors.............
Can anyone help me out or guide me along way ?

[Admin Note] You really need to read the guidelines : http://www.rcindia.org/rc-india-forum/forum-usage-tips/

Step1:
Lower-case: makes you polite.
Avoid too many emoticons: makes you sincere
Ellipsis means three dots, not more. Avoid excessive use of that.
Avoid typo: reread before you post. "3rd year", and "IC Engine"
To the point: If you browsed through the forum, you must be knowing that people do help. Do not ask vague questions like this one. Ask pointy questions like "Given the AUW and size of plane shall I go for a 25c 5.2A LiPo or shall I consider a glow engine?"

Hope this gets you going.

Thanks bro for the usefull suggetions.......but the thing is to designing using an ic engine. The prototype may be big enough i dont mind. I'm also not getting from where to start the process of designing ?

You want to design a heli ? Why not start with the build manual of existing RC helis... like this one ?

What he thinks rcindia is made for providing projects for university students .if he want do his projects he should better join something else.

He says ic engine ,there is no ic engine (not talking about nitro) for any helicopters
ic engines were replaced by turbine long time back
heavy duty motor suggests he only have book knowledge
if he wnts to build heli in india which is impossible , he should atleast have knowledge of it

Hmmm... wouldn't all glow engines typically used in RC come under the board classification of internal combustion (IC) engines ?  That way he is not wrong in terms of using an IC engine for a model heli.

Kitna deti hai? Maybe diesel. (Or is that a CI engine?)

@swapnil_1426
Dont know your budget, but you should check out the prices of the available model helis. You may be surprised.

By the way, are you thinking of a FULL SIZE heli? (Ie, passenger carrying)

You said design and MANUFACTURE. Do you mean one piece or a production line?

HAL has an aircraft division at Nasik - talk
to some of the production engineers there and visit
their plant.

They will give you some tips
