hey really wonderful hemanth bro.keep it up guys.
wow man , and what radio you have looks like 9x ..
guys you need to shoot with some HD cam.really nice work specially that RTL demo, just want to ask you was that crash touchdown?
No way you can fly for 36min with a 2650mah lipo, and doing it with a 400gm payload, you must be joking.
And is that a DJI Flamewheel frame?
thanks for saying my doubt
Even a plane of this weight could barely manage that time with lots of glide time :)

Who is challenging the Fly time ? meet for a million dollar bet
I will show the reality
if you have something than please prove ..how 4 motors and million electronics can work for over half an hour..
Its call T motor; 6 amps average current draw for regular flight at 60% throttle; Try them or meet me I will show them to you in reality. :hatsoff:
Wow! It looks really cool at night!
Thanks..
6 amps per motor or by the entire drive of 4 motors??
Per motor ayush; not all ....entire drive is about just above 20 amp
thankyou for clearing the doubt :salute:
really ,could you please share a link for that motor it would be great ,
+1
I'd like to get those motors for my quad too.
Hey nice work hemanth bro. I found that just bit more throttle above hover position gives allmost double flight time so 36 minutes is possible. There is record on rcg '51 min in air' without payload you can achieve that and as you said overall current draw is 20Amp then you can push the limits. Keep it up.
Here is the link of the motor:
http://www.rctigermotor.com/show.php?contentid=145
But please get ready to punch your pockets for those
Please read the specs of the motors; Then all the doubts about the fly time will be clarified.....
Woah! Amazing specs! Just went through the tech data.
Price is a pocket burner, though...

Call me for pricing....
First of all congrats on your achievement ... your achievement is so great that its hard to believe.
I did some calculations and seems something is wrong ...
Time = Battery capacity / Current drawn
Battery capacity (Ah) = Current drawn (I) x Time (H)
so, 2.7 = 2.7 * 1
It is said that given system needs 20 amps
Time = Battery capacity / Current drawn
Time = 2.7 / 20
Time = 0.135 (H) = 8 minutes
this is considering that it will take 11.1 V all the time
Now If we consider it only take 5.5 V then also flight time will be about 16 minutes
Can Hemanth/anyone please explain where my calculation are wrong?
+1
Sir for which MR did u do the calculation Quad or my new octa

Saw the motor link thanks for that..
Btw what are the lights that you have used. And where did you buy that frame from??

Can Hemanth/anyone please explain where my calculation are wrong?
Exactly my view, he says 6 amp avg current draw ie 24amps for 4 motors. Not 20 amp like you calculated.
I have various quads and various motors including the said T motor, mine with a 1045 prop draws 9 amps at 75% throttle.
The lights are from HK and the frame custom made out carbon fiber
I will post the calculation please give some time,,,,,

We all are eagerly waiting to know the math behind this..
and if it works as you are saying then ... we can upgrade easystar with this motor and fly it for 2+ hours

Hemath, Please dont call me sir... I am not senior in this hobby.
I did it for your Quad as you said in reply # 27 that it draw 20 amps and the link which you gave says motor will take avg 6 amps and battery capacity is given as 2650 (rounded to 2.7A)

I tested it with WK-M
I will test with my INS system soon;
The gains need to be tuned its just first flight
sir what is the brand of your six sensor quadrotor contol board and what is the cost
please post the link for control board :headscratch: :headscratch:
@hemanthguru:
I wonder how I missed this thread.
1) You say the FC is 32-bit. Which CPU is used? STM32?
2) Is the code self-written?
3) Any GUI for configuring various parameters or do you just use those on-board pots?
4) Can you specify the IMU used or the names of the individual sensors?
5) Did you port any open-source multirotor platform like Multiwii onto your code, or is it completely different?
6) Do you plan to retail it? If yes, at what price?
7) Is your product open-source? Can anyone modify the code to their interest/requirement?

And finally proudly "MADE IN INDIA"
And I must say "GREAT JOB!" I am EXTREMELY proud to see this from INDIA.
Vineet
1: No ARM 7 with a Cyclone for security
2: The code is accumulated work many FC codes
3: It uses MAV so u can use APM planner or Q ground or My IOS App to configuring
4: It uses a gasoline grade 9 DOF IMU which internally dampened
5: Its uses the best algorithm for the function from all the FC programs,
6: The FC will not available has a controller, It will come with a fully build copter itself [ Copter with 1, 3 , 6, 8 Kg payload with gyro stabilization ]
7: No, The code is not open source, but can altered to requirements of any kind. The variations can be done.
Hmm.. Okay. :)
I finalize the control loops and navigation algorithms I will put up the test videos in next 5 days

waiting for the video!!!!!!!!!
This video was shot in low light and the Gimbal Home made.
The copter is running Brainwing INS + Gimbal stabilization
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KauuWKM3HM&feature=youtu.be
The camera which was to filim the copter had no battery in it. I will upload few more on monday
If you have time please see from first or else skip 1m 40s
nice video!!!!!!
That's absolutely smooth, and no jello effect. It's hard to believe the gimbal is scratch-built.
And there's no fish-eye effect, isn't it a GoPro?
Its NEX 5 , And this no jelly effect because there a vibration dampening balls I have around 16 of them. Its not a go pro Its Sony NEX 5 Mirror less SLR
And the gimbal is Gyro Stabilized
Nice..... ;D
AUTO GAIN CONTROL FINALIZED
Please see the quad adjusting the user inputs and changing PID automatically to match the flying style
