Guys,
I wanted to make a ducted fan engine for my school's science fair.I want to try to do it at the least expense but I want to make a good one.I have one or two ideas but all of them are just ideas. I wanted to use a computer fan and an inrunner motor.an esc would add to the expense so I will either run it at full power or will run it with a voltage regulator. So,I wanted to put the fan connected to the motor on the bottom of a bottle(plastic and make a nozzle to let out the compressed air and have some thrust. Can I get some suggestions as to how I can manage it and any improvements?

lets see what your ideas are, and let the people help you out....
you see ducted fan setups are already available in the market , ask sai from rc4all and he can give you a lot of info on these stuffs.
and if you realy want some help on the forum, u realy need to post your ideas...

if u do not want to use esc then it has to be brushed motor.

You can't be first because you do not know!

Er,I wanted to make a static ducted fan unit for the science fair at my school.I just wanted to see if it could be done.I am planning on using a computer fan and a bottle to complete the design. The base of the bottle will house the fan with the motor. The exhaust will be from the neck.I was wondering if I could get a mechanical esc.And I was planning on using a normal 9 volt battery to run it.I wanted to experiment first and then make a final working design.
