Hi Dipti, welcome to the forum  :)

We all would love to know how far are you with your project.  What design have you come up with, are you using gyros, and so on and so forth ?!?!?!?

four rotor helicopter consists of the following components-
1 ) four outrunner brushless motor.
2 ) carbon fibre tube.
3 ) nylone fibre.
4 ) motor clamp.
5 ) inertial measurement unit(6 dof)
6 ) 30 ESC.
7 ) personal computer.
8 ) parallel port.

sir am using 3axis gyro and 3 axis accelerometre the complete IMU circiut. It helps me to collect the roll , pitch , yaw , roll rate , pitch rate, yaw rate, after that am following the pid closed loop for the autonomous hovering. so am going to put the pics of ma quadrotor as soon as ma propeller attached to the quadrotor.

When you say "autonomous hovering", do you mean it will just stabilize itself only, OR can it go from point A to B to point C without any human input ?  Does it support storing of trajectory points (like A, B, C mentioned above) which it will visit autonomously once it is airborne ?

autonomous means it will stabilize automatically any disturbances is there the craft stabilize itself only

Ithink This will help , this is a system on its own.

hi dipti didi(or akka) (i am smaller than you)(i am 16 now) what is the material out of which the quad is to built out of. as you are doing engineering fibre glassing is the best also you might also be having CNC facility i believe i have a friend max in the USA actually he's quite older than me i followed his project closely he also is bulding a quadrotor Vtol i like his project might suite you .he is a designing genius. post your model diagram and wiring if you can.
check out his post and let me know if you have any questions i will ask him for you. i like VTOLS if you finsh with you quad someday you can convert it into a vtol to. Best of luck. As you are from chennai ask sai uncle he will help you out .
good luck again

hi Dipti Didi
i just forgot to ask you that, do the motors sytem have the collective and cyclic ability  or is it like mine that is using servo to tilt the motor for temporary cotrol

thank u sir ...........
i alredy biult it
i just flying 4 feet but blance is nt there
so am going to implement closed loop controll system
PID loop

Hi Dipti for a multirotor flyer aerial physical balance is always an important issue . So if you can send the model of your quadrotor where the mass distribution or the placement of the various stuffs are indicated  we can hopefully solve your problem .  8)  8-)

The most difficult part of developing efficient self hovering quad is to generate the PWM pulses for the ESC´s because we would need 4 PWM servo outputs with very good precision (1-2us) and at a high rate around 125Hz i guess.
It seems you are using  PC for calculation and interface it via parallel port wireless. The major problem would be the rate at which quad sends data to the pc and at that rate pc wont be able to send the data back due to the limitations of the wireless medium.
I would suggest you better go  for onboard MCU .

And 30amp ESC i think thats way to more.
