Post by: rc ram on November 11, 2012, 03:18:52 PM
hi friends its my first try to make a brushed esc at home by using link  http://www.stefanv.com/rcstuff/esc.htm           but it give wrong reading i used 2s lipo with this esc and 0 volt come through bec ,input voltage directly come as output voltage  any suggesions please  :help:

Soldering problem observe. Open the IC from base and solder properly. Each bead will have been contacted like water drop on glass but here some looks like mercury drop on glass.
Like b or c but not like a

then again test

And also replace the transistor if it is damaged. Take out from circuit and test it.

Capacitors are perfectly OK. Use cheap soldering paste. it contain some cleaning acid. First make it working. Then make thick power track using solder at least.

Also scrap terminals of resistors if soldering seem not wets the terminals.

sir can you tell me under the ic there is any jumper connection

No, No jumpering there except 2 and 6. Look in the circuit.
First look in the +ve and -vcc supply at 4 and 8 pin. Then check saw tooth output at pin 1 using antiparallel LED and diode with series capacitor (very small like 0.001uF.) with respect to ground.
If AC is not available, check the connections of OP-AMP-1 (Top). If OK then go for lower OP-AMP Troubleshooting.

And also give +vcc to gate of one of MOS to check motoring starts or not using 1K Transistor. You may replace Motor with an 6.2 volt Lamp as you are using 2S.
Then the MOS will be checked working or not, one by one.

Then go for op-amp 2 inputs.

But first replace the transistor if it is damaged.
