Title: how to use fs-i6 with simulator?
Post by: harshit batra on November 29, 2015, 05:15:26 PM
After making a diy buddy cable for my fs-i6 .i want to make a diy simulator cable, anyone with any experience with it pls help.here's what i got by reading from various forums, simulators require ppm signals from tx to work with so someone recomended me to use ppm out and gnd from trainer plug at back side of tx and connect it with a 3.5 mm jack .and then connect it to computers audio port and use smartpropoplus and ppjoy for making a virtual joystick and then calibrate and use simulator.

so my question is ,is it safe to connect tx with computer in this manner ? I dont want to fry my new tx so pls help!! And will this thing work?

I also read somewhere on this forum that tx which do not have removable module are needed some kind of soldering of resistor somewhere in tx,is it right?

Harshit bhai,

Just buy a simulator from Banggood for 4$ -10$ with cd and dongle.

And enjoy..... like this the precious time will be wasted in planning / finding / researching and ultimately finding that its of no use.
