The trim switches on my 9x were troubling. Swiped some contact cleaner off Sanjay sir. Opened up the radio and decided it needed a new look, so diassembled and painted it in a red theme. Somehow did not tighten the antenna properly and crashed my balsa stick. The radio lives up to it's new name, the 'red devil'.
Nice work sir,,, looks good
Sad about the Stick
Wow
Shouldn't have used nail polish ;D
may be a different shade of nail polish would do :P
but looks neat :)

Red backlit is next
Girish Bhai, wtf is wrong with you? You, I guess, are far above these juvenile, cosmetic details - I have so much respect for you. Nail polish/ Lip stick ? Revlon, I hope.
It looks, well, different. Not photogenic I guess: better in real life
(Want my Contact Cleaner back now :giggle:)
Hahaha, you turned the devil into a demoness Iyer sir, I used Fevicryl, painting the metal parts was difficult, but I think it should stay on for a while. Also gave the cabinet a PU coating (touchwood); used to collect a lot of dust and continued wiping had taken its toll on the original gloss.
Gusty sir, lipstick would be too distracting :giggle:
VC sir, being with Sanjay sir and flying his beautifully done models has rekindled my inclination towards beauty.
Sanjay sir, your contact cleaner is safe and sound, Weekend pakka.
Sahilkit, sure next time, maybe hot pink... :giggle:
Sooraj, Chinatal, Avadh, thank you gents.
Maahin, like I learned from Sanjay sir, the moment you crash, fly again. So I did and it helped. I might just "make up" my mind to repair the stick 8-)
and yes a red backlit soon on its way, Saurabh >:D
