Hello Fellas

This is my Quadkopter which is based on UAVX platform by Prof Greg Egan......
Although it is a bit unstable at the moment, but considering the time it took(more than one year) to roll out....it's of utmost satisfaction to watch it in air

Nice

The site below (which seems to be the one referenced by you) is offering ready to use boards, did you use one ?  How much DIY was involved ?

Hello Mr Anwar......

No I didn't bought the stuff from the place you have mentioned......Indeed I bought sensors( Gyros & Accelero) from  Sparkfun & Board from Quadroufo.com........I got them soldered on board myself....

I couldn't do much DIY stuff myself, although I tried to it.......First I got someone here in Delhi to make bare PCB for the design of the flight controller....The guy made a horrible thing ( incomplete design, unmasked paths).....that experience was so much scary that I couldn't gather courage again to get it done again at my own......
I will post the photos of current Flight controller & the one that other guy made for me, pretty soon

Second issue was of programmer.....I tried programming the PIC mc with JDM based programmer but even that was nightmarish.....

and above all.......in last April I purchased Gyros & acceleros different from the std. ones used with that project, in the hope that I would be able to make alteration in original design and codes as per my requirement......but the first two experiences didn't gave me that much flexibility......

So finally I decided to give up thought of doing something at high level and just finish as it up by least time consuming method (although that was really embarassing).....

Regards
Anurag
