Not sure if I got your requirements clearly, so here is my attempt :

1.  When you buy a "rc controller", which in RC circles is usually known as a radio/transmitter PLUS a receiver, you will usually get one radio and one receiver. Depending on the radio, you may also get a radio/transmitter battery and a charger for the same.  If it is a simple radio, then you will get the radio alone, and you will have to put in 8 1.5v AA cells to power the radio.  The receiver battery is supplied with some brands, but typically not these days.

2.  I am totally confused.  You mentioned a 6 channel receiver, so I am not sure why you need 2 2-ch receivers ? To answer your question, in most cases, two receivers will respond together SIMILARLY if they are on the same channel (Mhz) or bound to the same model/radio (2.4Ghz). Note that you will NOT get independent control of both... for example, channel 1 on both will output the same control signal.  You can use this, for example, to make two cars do the same thing, but NOT to independently control different things.
