I am a complete noob in RC(I dont even have a radio yet!) and am in the process of getting into this wonderful hobby! I have been making things since as far back as I can remember though I did not document any of my earlier creations.. I have always liked scavenging parts from junk(probably because I am always outta cash :P). I got to building robots for entering into competions for the last two years.. Here are some of them :)
It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic,
Of all things physical and metaphysical,
Of all things human and all things super-human,
Of all true manifestations of the head,
Of the heart, of the soul,
That the life is recognizable in its expression,
That form ever follows function. This is the law.

R.A.F.T(robot aided flood transportation)
This is a folding bot that I made for IIT KGP event. The paddles remain folded when not in use. When placed placed on a raft, it unfurls and provide motive power..

The first one is a battlebot
Specs(approx as I have only rudimentary methods of measuring ;D)
70Kg/cm Torque
25Kg lifting arm(limited to about 12kg because of design constraints)(the blue bot there weighed 8Kg >:D)
5cm dia wheels at 200rpm

The second is an All Terrain Bot.

@ last right
are you by any chance from FIEM Kolkatta? Because I think I remember seeing the videos when I was there.

Dharmik

awesome mate.really nice work out there.since you jumped into rc hobby i am sure sooner or later you would like to convert your wired robots into wireless.

@roopeshkrishna Thanks! I love anything electrical/electronic or mechanical.. In other words, I just love machines in all shapes and sizes. Moreover the winnings from these events help me sustain my hobbies. :)

@coolpratheesh No I am from Camellia Inst of Tech. I participate in almost every robotics event held in and around Kolkata. I came first in FIEM btw ;D... You are from Kolkata?

@Dharmik: Thank you! It would be quite tough. Since they take power from a pc smps I took some liberty designing them.. They are quite inefficient when it comes to energy management :P.. Anyways all those robots have already been disassembled as I have to make new ones for Kshitij 2012
