Hard for a beginner from what I have read.

For obvious reasons,it is called a 'quadrotor'.

Tons of threads on this. But really difficult for a beginner.

Don't mean to discourage you, but please read the existing threads, as 99% of what you are looking for is already posted/answered in them. Do NOT expect people to dump existing relevant information again on this thread.

If after reading the threads you have further queries, be sure to post them here :)

Please note that the v-tail mixer based version has some challenges, as described in this thread :

http://www.rcindia.org/self-designed-diy-and-college-projects/quadrotor-build-thread/

No one on the forum has it working, so be warned before you invest in it.  People on the US forums also have trouble, and some have overcome it with their own custom built mixers (they tweaked the mixer software to work with the timing differences of multiple gyro outputs).

There are multiple ones, like the Parrot AR Drone (more fancy), and the Gaui 330.  Both have been discussed here before, and the Gaui one is more like it : http://www.rcindia.org/helis/gaui-330x-quad-flyer/

I must say that by looking at the above questions, the project seems too ambitious for now. No offence meant, but i think you should first spend time(few days) by studying the elements involved in RC in depth before you go ahead with the project.

i have just starting to study about quadrotor.... ;)

These are answered already ("function of gyros", "brushed versus brushless", "what prop is better in general, and specifically for quad").  It is just a matter of searching with the right keywords, and the RIGHT keywords are always arrived at by trial and error !

Don't hate me for saying this :) ...  but this is your first day here, please do take a few days (not months as someone else suggested!) to read up on relevant topics, and I am sure you will spend your money wisely (and avoid costly regrets). Slow and steady... WINS the race

@Anwar uncle : Well i seem to have exaggerated the time  :giggle: .I just meant that a newbie will require a month or two to acquire the knowledge and the building skills to build a quadrotor. I mean maybe im wrong  :headscratch:. What is you opinion on this?  Anyhow modified my comment. ;D
