Hello friends,
I have made an RC plane by using the bunch of A4 size paper. complete body and reinforcement I made using paper only.
I made triangle cross-section of paper and made the complete skeleton of my plane using it and then I covered it with paper. the overall strength of plane was far better than I expected. My plane survived many crashes with slight damage in the first plane and no damage in the second plane.
I have tried two planes. the first plane which was a conventional design was not very successful. But the second plane a flying wing was good enough to fly.
Detail of the first plane:
span : 60cm,
weight: 65g,
thrust: 30g approx,
control: 2ch rudder, elevator,
Detail of the first plane:
span : 53cm,
weight: 55g,
thrust: 30g approx,
control: 2ch elevon mix.
electronics:
Wltoys receiver with 2 inbuilt servos and Coreless ESC,

please comment any suggestion or view about it,
thanks
Bro this is a great idea
thanks lot
Wonderful work. How do you think a bigger version will be? Will it be strong enough?
Regards
Nitesh
thanks a lot,
that's what I would try next. I would try to make a plane with typical Rc setup have the span of around 80-100cm and 150-200g of weight.
Great Job man!
Would like to see how this project goes! All the Best.
Wow
You're intending to change model building
All the best
good work done abhilash
Abki baar fevicol sarkar..
Loved it. Needs a lot of patience.
Previously I tried to make an RC plane using paper and overall lightweight setup (wltoys receiver) but now I made a complete airplane using paper and our typical RC plane electronic stuff. This plane has the weight of 150 grams and the wingspan of 80 cm and yes complete structure of this plane is made of paper only. no balsa wood or carbon rod is used for reinforcement purpose but only paper.
After having successful flying I also tried to have some crash test and check the damage on the plane.
In below video, I tried to explain the various factor of the plane:

More details of this plane are covered in below instructable. for better understanding, it is recommended to go through this text:
