Probably the sim planes are fine tuned and yours is not!, this is where u need help from experienced people

PankajC

True, but then again, you try a new model on the sim and crash, its no big deal. Just start the practice all over again. So you can manage to crash umpteen number of times before you can fly is perfectly.

However, in the field, if you crash its back to the drawing board.

True, this is where the mentors come in. But if they are nowhere in sight its a problem.........

Hi Pankaj,
Try Kuldeep Gangwani; I will send his number to you.  He is a very helpful guy and lives in Inderpuri (I think) on the ring road.
Before you fly your plain, make sure you glide it towards ground without power. It should just glide... a small public park out side your house with grass will be perfect for this trial...

It seems the last crash, the 3S1P 3000mAH is destroyed. After a long gap i tried charging it. The charger started by showing a voltage of 12.4, but then after some times dropped to 11.8 then stopped chargin with an error notification. After some time I tried again, this time went into the voltage monitoring. One cell showed  4.2 but the rest were constantly fluctuating. I stopped the charge...

12.4 does not mean it is dead, it means its healthy. What does your lipo moniter say? If you dont have any try using a multimeter and post here for individual cells, The issue may be in the charger as well.  ???

PankajC

I have charged/ discharged another cell exactly the same config soon after this test and it worked, so no issues with chargers. Individual voltage in the monitor  now shows 3.68, 3.75, 4.2. Interesting thing is that the voltage of the first two keeps going up and down rapidly. Hence I think the pack is dead

Pankaj, if you have a balanced charger, then you have to do one thing. The pack may not be dead after all.

Believe me. Put the pack in discharge mode on the charger, watch the cells till the lowest voltage on any cell reaches 3.3. If any reaches 3.3, then put the charger in balanced charge mode and charge at 0.2 or 0.3 amps. and let it go for a long time. After an hour or two monitor the voltage and see. This looks like the cells are way out of balanced, and the shunting current is way way less than the charging current.

Let us know how it goes. Any ways do it in a SAFE place.  :)
