Final note:

this V-tail mixer has 4 modes of operation in which one can select the percentage of mixing between channels 1,2

switch 1    2    channel 1       2  (servo travel is given in percentage to radio stick movement)

      off    off      100%        100%
      off     on     100%         50%
      on    off      50%          100%
      on     on      50%          50%

please see the picture on how to connect the servo to the mixer and the black plastic casing will not directly plug to the receiver it either has to be replaced with proper servo casing or trim the units to fit the receiver!

They work very well and are much more than "value for money". 5 stars!
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

PankajC

For brushed or brush-less-ESC with built-in 5volt BEC and putting out more that 5.5volts or 5.5volts please insert a diode in series with positive wire or red color wire ! see picture or better use an extension with above modification.

Please note: V-tail mixer will not work at 5.5volts because the programing/verification/fuse were tested for 5volts operation only!

V.C has reported that the V-tail mixer is not functioning at 5.5volts (thanks for pointing out)!

Has anyone etched a board for this mixer?
I'd like to build some of these boards but the lack of an etched side of the board is holding me back.

TRISHUL 1994

are the jumpers meant to be 2 pin dip switch?

sahilkit

Hello Trishul

yes the jumper is a 2pin dip switch and these are used to set the servo mix. see post 37
