I need some help in deciding the FPV setup. Please guide me which of the below should be preferred and how much range do they both offer..?

If you are using 2.4GHz for RC control, you cant use frequency band for video transmission. So you'll have choose 900MHz.

900MHz will have more range than 2.4GHz with same transmission power (100mW in this case).

However, 2.4GHz will give you better picture quality. But since you will be using a 420TVL camera I dont think you'll see much of a difference.
