What max range of Boscam 600mw video tx-rx can provide?

satyagupta

With stock antennas and open field you can easily get 1KM.

I am getting it checked with supplier about the issue that you have facing. Please give me sometime with that.

Range depends on many factors like antenna gain, antenna type, atmosphere, type of field. One more thing is to tune correct channel to get best range else some channels might left signals at few meters.

It is pleasure to inform that my 600mw boscam av TX with cp antenna is providing 4km range!!
We tested it with multiple time some static only after 2km.
Although we fly in outskirts of Jaipur so very less distortions.
And most important we fly with autopilots for that much distance.
FLY ONLY IN LINE OF SIGHT if u don't hv access to such equipments. :hatsoff:

There are some users who get even more than 4KM using 200mW and CP antennas. Lot depends on the channel and the surroundings.

What about the radio. Does it have range more than 4km. If so what radio do you use.

Antriksh

As I mentioned
We use autopilot so no worries about radio range.
However our radio passed test of 10km of range with frsky lrs system

chintal

which radio of frsky and which rx ?

Proper helical antennas or high gain well tuned antennas with diversity system can yield even more distance!
