I've destroyed 3 Analog servos during 180 degree rotation modification.Because these cheap servos IC is so unstable and popped out  after 2 solder trial and with no success. :banghead:
So now ordered HitecES08D servo.
Now i want to know can i program this servo for 180 rotation from Arduino? :headscratch:

what application do you have in mind ?

have you considered using a stepper motor - very easy to control by arduino

also what modification have you done to your servos ? removed the pot and soldered two equal
resistors from outer pins to the center pin ?

if you are trying to pulse pwm from arduino then supply pwm around 600 to 2400 will get 180 degree motion in most of the servos. no need to modify the servo.

Or you can try servo stretchers.

Antriksh

yes i soldered two 1k resistors.
But it didn't work.
I want to use as fpv servo.

Akhilzid trying to DIY but if it doesn't work then i'll go for stretcher or some advance servo.
I'm sure some one will help me in this.

still you need to modify servo, add two resisters in Series like shown below. don't add too much resistance.

Negative from board -----> Resister -----> POT ----> Resister -----> Positive From Board

i did same and it works well in one direction but in other i keeps moving!
So i changed resistor and after two attempt circuit board damaged!(PCB print tear off)
I know i can do it but i jst want to ask can we program Digital servo from Arduino or stuff something like that to have a 180 rotation?
By this way i can save my more servos to be sacrificed.

I checked there is a Emax servo programmer in market but it cost $20!!!

Always use current limiters in power supply to save electronics while DIY modifications.
