he spent around 40K for the machine.

Frame costs around Rs.300 to 500 depends upon the size.   :hatsoff:

Parichya sir if your buying a 3d printer go for the prusa i3 get the electronics and mechanical kit from ebay,banggood or aliexpress and you can laser cut the prusa i3 frame from 6mm MDF wood.....if you search well you could get your 3D printer ready in 12K!.....Even i am planing to do the same after my exams are over :banghead: :banghead: ....and you could get ABS filament from HK at 9$! :hatsoff:

Fully homemade..

I found delta is much easier to diy.. most of the parts i had already..
Frame is mdf cnc cuted
Steel rods
Bearings and belts all purchaed thats it
