Today printed a 250mm quad frame
With 5mm thich center plate and 9mm thich arms with 60mm high landing skid..
Whole peint took aeound 6 hours in total..
And around 65mtrs of pla
Total weight around 50gms..
Moderately strong.. will post the pics and flying video soon..;D
As it is a diy printer the finishing is not that perfect.. and took a lot of time coz i just printed in a speed of 35mm/sec
Where we can actually go up to 150mm/sec.

Hello Arun and gautham,

Yes the build volume is small but adequate and its meant for starters in 3d printing.

its only PLA as of now so no heated bed but it comes with a Aluminum Bed so can be upgraded later.

its expandable, if you know how to work on it, you can make a 1m x 1m x 1m printer too  ;D.

we have these rails http://creatorbot.com/frame-rails/t-slot-profiles and can get some ideas here openbuilds.com

I really want to see how these rails we have can be used in RC Hobby to make some cool awesome stuff.

arun.sreelakam

Ofcourse you can built any size printer.. but what i am taking was under budget..
