Hello friends ,
I have seen many planes which lands on belly,
But as my experience when we use a plane with belly landing there is wear and tear of the fuselage slowly and after 25~30 landings the plane get serious damage. :banghead:
I want to ask what different techniques shall be used to avoid this?

Please do mention technique and the material used for construction like depron, balsa, coro ,etc.

Use duct tape on belly.☺️

I used to put Fiber tape on the underside of fuselage of planes like Skysurfer, for other DIY ones, I just taped a piece of 1 mm or 2 mm coro on the bottom of the plane and get going.

I use a thin aluminium stripe, which you may get from a coke or beer tin.

You can put skids on the belly.
@ nitesh
Can you add some photos.. That will clarify skids.

@pranavk
Sry i dont have any photos, i had one skysurfer thats a history now. 3 Skids could be put in nose, tail and at the cg.
But the bamboo strips Iyer sir have used is also kind a skid, and working great.
(Correct me if i am wrong).

Any more suggestions on coroplast builds......

You can use aeroply of 2mm or 3mm by plating the sheet in the belly of the plane..
