Foam board is available @JC road. You'll be able to find it with people who make temporary/cheap number plates for vehicles.

EDIT - Google maps link https://maps.google.co.in/maps/myplaces?hl=en&ll=12.955504,77.587037&spn=0.025679,0.048795&ctz=-330&t=m&z=15

Veloci those are foam boards not foam for rc plane I think... those foam boards using for number plates are too stiff and more weight... I tested making a plane with that the weight is more and will break easily.. :(
Any other source in Bangalore for depron at least  I am coming there this weekend...

as in bangalore happen to come across a very good foam source. VIJAY TRADING COMPANY

he deals in BLUE FOAM ( similar to dollar tre one as seen in videos) 1.5 inch thick and 1.5 sq mt. costs around 900/sq mt
also stocks fibre glass cloth (120gsm costs 50/sqmt), fibre tapes( 250 for a 2 inch roll), and lots of other materials

he can source carbon fibre cloth on demand. a bit expensive may be

Are you talking about low density thermocol? Because that's the only foam I've seen them sell in the Kormangala BDA complex.

Just wanted to add a note since information in your post could be misleading. Blue Foam and dollar tree foam are two completely different materials. Blue foam is normally sold in blocks and is a good option for cutting foam wing cores. Dollar tree foam on the other hand is sold in sheets of 5~6mm thickness with paper backing on both sides. Bio-foam (local name) is a very good alternative to foam board which is cheap and easy to source in India.
