HI,

one of the dealer today send me sample foam, it is soft but retains its shape   :thumbsup:

its almost like mousepad but light in weight. pretty gud one, even tried fewiquick and nothing happened {:)}
note sure what it is called, but dealer mentioned that it is generally used in packaging, medical equipments etc..

i think it is same material used in most of the Aluminium Tx field boxes, not sure  :headscratch:

price is around Rs300 for 5mm thick, 100cmx200cm sheet

hav a look and suggest if it can be used for building foamies!!!!! :headscratch:

 {:)} good show if we keep our eyes open we can find stuff noone here knows can be used for making C planes
I think some structural struts added/ embedded in this foam can make a good aircraft but i think the aircraft will be heavy as its PVC or rubber based foam but a flying wing kind of an aircraft with some foam and some of this material will be a good bet for mono/biplanes i think whatever thickness sheet we use it will be too flexible
but one thing is for sure this material WILL withstand crashes
once again Good going buddy keep looking

Well, i guess it might be used as an alternative to EPP for building profile foamies. But, I don't think this can be used for larger foamies or scale models as the material is not rigid enough, so for those Biofoam is the best option.
