Got some ways to build the Landing Gear and Tail Wheel. Hope it will help.
First the Landing Gear
Material Required:
1. Aluminium Flat_1 inch (Available at local Hardware stores)
2. Mobile Charger Pins which will act as Axles
3. Wheels
4. Wheel stoppers
5. Screws to fix the assembly to Fuselage (Assembly can also be strengthened with Epoxy)
6. 5 min Epoxy (Araldite)
Landing Gear continued…..
Step by Step construction:
1. Cut the Aluminium Flat in the required length.
2. Drill Holes at both the ends of the Flat for the Axle. Holes can be drilled later also after dry fit for better alignment.
3. Bend the Aluminium Flat in the Landing Gear profile.
4. Fix the Mobile Charger Pin in the holes and glue with 5 min Epoxy as shown in the pics.
5. Now put the wheels along with the stopper.
6. Screw the whole carriage assembly to the fuselage. It can be additionally glued with Epoxy for more strength.
7. One can Paint the Landing gear or can cover with Vinyl sheets.
Please follow the pics for better guidance.
Hope it will be useful. :)
